Chapter 18 (heaven's arena)

The first round was easier than expected. The first and last time I was here, I came with Hisoka but the guys were a little bit tougher than my last opponent.

The ref stood in place for a moment. He was still trying to process that the fight was already over. "Wow..." He types in something on a small handheld device. "Your skill and speed are flawless. Go straight to the 100th floor."

"Aw. I was hoping for the 200th floor." I still took the ticket.

"Yes well if you do just as well on the other floors, you'll be there in no time!" He was a very sweet man so I smiled at him.

"Thanks!" I straightened up my ponytail and outfit before I proceeded to the elevator. On the 100th floor I registered for a fight for the same day and did the same when I reached the 110th floor.

'Maybe I'll get to the 200th floor by tomorrow if everything goes well.'

I fought a couple more fights which brought me up to the 150th floor. The staff was concerned for me so I wasn't allowed to participate in anymore fights until tomorrow.

'I wonder how my boys are doing...' I thought to myself when I got into my room.

Killua's POV

Wing and Zushi knocked on the door. "Come in." I was hanging out with Gon when they showed up.

Wing looked like he was in a daze and Zushi was beaming. "What's up with you guys?"

"We just met this pretty woman down stairs." Zushi was happy to tell us what happened but Wing was quiet. "She said she knows you guys too!"

"A girl?" Gon looks as confused as I am.

The TV came on. One of the fights were now playing. "Look at that folks! How did she move that fast?! Such a graceful fighter! Looks like the Angel of the Heaven's Arena has returned!" The girl shown on the screen was Angel! She was standing over a knocked out man and waved to the crowd. "She's heading to the 150th floor!"

"Angel?!" Gon and I yelled.

"Yeah... that's what I thought." Wing finally recovered from his trace but he didn't remove his eyes from the screen.

Gon corrected him. "No, that's her name. That's Angel."

He snapped out of his thoughts and looked to us again. "She wanted to see you two- well actually she didn't know you were here until we told her but she was happy to know you were okay Killua."

My cheeks felt warm from embarrassment and gratitude. "Really? She said that?" I looked at the screen where the girl once stood. "Well if she didn't know we were here then that means she's here to train or see someone." I already knew who that someone could be.

"But she already can use nen!" Zushi blurted out with wide eyes.

"What?!" Gon's mouth stayed open. "She must be working really hard!" His expression softened and his eyes smiled.

"Well when is she coming to see us?" I asked.

"She wanted to leave that to you. Actually, I doubt she thought you boys would want to see her at all." Zushi nodded his head to his master's statement.

"Why wouldn't we want to-" Gon's head snapped in my direction.

Zushi looked between me and my best friend. "What? What is it?"

"She's here to see Hisoka." I explained to our friends.

My master's aura was confused. "Why do you think that?" Wing sounded a little too eager for an answer.
