Chapter 12 (hunter exam)

While we were going through the orientation, I kept an intense eye on Illumi and Hisoka was keeping an eye on me. Gon threw open the doors and marched to Killua's idiot older brother.

"Apologize to Killua!"

"What for?" Illumi said with a blank face. I just wanted to smack some sense into him. Everyone started arguing and pointing fingers at each other until Gon quieted everyone. The young boy also vowed to get Killua back and keep his friend from Illumi and the rest of the Zoldyck family.

Gon's POV

After the orientation, we received our licenses and were allowed to leave. I ran off and caught up with Illumi. "I want you to tell me where Killua is." Illumi didn't seem to mind telling me where his younger brother could be. "Kukuroo mountain? We've got it, thanks a lot."

Leorio, Kurapika, and I were trying to think of where Kukuroo mountain could be when Angel walked up. "Hey guys. What's up?" She seemed a bit more agitated than usual.

"We're just trying to find out where Kukuroo mountain is. Do you know?"

She thought hard for a time and then answered. "It's in the republic of Podokea, right? This family of elite assassins are rumored to live at the top. I remember hearing about it from some friends. That's all I really know about it. Sorry I'm not too much help, but why are you trying to find it?"

"We're going to bring Killua back!"

Her eyes lit up. "Really!? I want to help too!"

Hisoka walked up behind her. "Terribly sorry but this little Angel won't be going."

"Why not?! I want to-" She stopped yelling when Hisoka whispered something in her ear. "Oh. I understand... I'm sorry boys but I can't go. Please bring Killua back safe."

"Yeah. Okay." She gave each of us a hug before she left with Hisoka. She had a tense expression on her face. It was as if she was trying to figure something out.

"That was strange." Kurapika broke the tension.

"Yeah you're tellin me."

Pokkle walked up to meet us after Hanzo did. He explained what he would do with his hunter's license now that he passed the exam. "What's that thing!?" I pointed to the device in his arms.

"You use it to find all kinds of information. Is there anything you want to know? I could look it up for you."

"There is! Can you look up a hunter named Ging? Ging Freecss." After a while of looking he reported that he couldn't find anything.

"How about we try finding some information on where Angel is from."

"Great idea Leorio!"

"Okay so Pokkle," Kurapika started giving him all of the information we had on Angel and her home. "She said she lives on an island that's far away from here. It doesn't have any pig species on it. She talked about their festivals and tourists coming to them."

"Maybe the color of her hair and the abilities of her body will also help us find the island too."

"You're right Leorio. She has long amethyst hair and purple eyes. She can manipulate her body and hair too."

"Is that it?" Pokkle said sarcastically. It was obvious that some of that information wasn't useful at all.

"Yep that's all!" I say.

He starts typing on his computer. "I'm interested in finding out who she is too. I've never seen anyone land a hit on Hisoka before." He looked like he was reading something. "Okay I think I found it!"
