Cinder raced through a foggy forest, the trees growing to the skies. She didn't know why she was running, but she didn't want to stop- almost as if she did she would regret it.

Where am I?

Cinder's thoughts echoed through the forest as she ran, looking around as she saw the sky was an odd blue with stars. She looked behind her as she saw what seemed like a glowing black cat with yellow eyes following her as darkness was right behind it. Cinder's heart started to beat faster as she kept on running, but the more she ran, the slower she got it seemed. "W-who are you? Why are you following me?" Cinder yelled as she began to get slower though her paws was fast. She became closer and closer to the dark cat as its eyes glowed with darkness she never felt before.

"Only Cinder Can Stop The Darkness. Only Cinder Can Stop The Darkness." Voices echoed and repeated around the trees as if there was cats behind them but none was there. Cinder was getting closer the to dark glowing cat. She felt a jolt of fear as the dark glowing cat was now right behind her. She didn't dare look up. The dark glowing cat padded in front of her, staring down at her. "Leave me alone! Please!" Cinder meowed as she began to cry. "Only Cinder Can Stop The Darkness." The dark glowing cat meowed before biting Cinder in the face. Before it could, Cinder jolted awake.

"Cinder!" Pebble hissed. "What..?" Cinder meowed, still shaking from her dream. It has be several moons since they had explored camp, now its time for them to be trainee's. "Come on! We're going to be trainee's!" Pebble meowed, getting to her paws as she raced out the den. "Wait- Star?" Cinder looked up at the entrance of the den, only to see Star staring there looking at her with narrow eyes. Clover would get to her paws. "Come on, Cinder, you don't want to be late for your ceremony." She meowed softly, passing her as she padded out the den. She got to her paws quickly, seeing Star still looking at her with narrowed eyes. "Why are you looking at me like that?" Cinder asked, her fur starting to bristle. Star hauntingly reminded Cinder of the dark glowing cat in her dream that tried to kill her. "You had the dream, didn't you?" Star meowed, his tail starting to sway as his hair covered his eye. His claws flexed in and out as he looked at Cinder.

That's impossible! He couldn't have known about my dream! He's only a herb cat trainee!

"Well?" Star meowed. "How do you know?" Cinder asked, narrowing her eyes. "I'm a herb cat trainee, Moon Clan sometimes talks to me but mostly Puffin, but now Moon Clan has talked to us both about you." Star meowed. "Me?" Cinder meowed. "Yes, now did you get the dream or not?" Star meowed. Cinder nodded. "That's all I needed to hear. Come to the treatment den after the ceremony." Star meowed before walking out. Cinder watched him, something about him made her like him a little, maybe it was how mysterious he was, or how silent and kept to himself he was or maybe it was how he glared at her in a way that made her shiver. Cinder raced outside.

Swan Moon, a white tom with a moon symbol on his head and blue eyes, stood on a high rock. "Due to us having a shortage of kittens and trainee's, I am proud to make Pebble and Cinder trainee's." Swan Moon meowed, his voice loud. Cinder and Pebble looked at each other with smiles of joy. "Pebble, step forward." Swan Moon meowed. Pebble would step forward, her tail high. Cinder admired how brave she was. Cinder looked around as there was a lot of cats in the clearing, she spotted Star by the treatment den, looking at her.

Gosh, why must he be so creepy though? Does he always have his eye on me like this?

Cinder thought, then quickly turned. "Pebble, your mentor shall be Feather." Swan Moon meowed. Pebble padded up to Feather, a greyish and blueish she cat with dark blue eyes. Feather would lick Pebble's head and Pebble would do the same. They then dipped their heads and went back into the crowd of cats looking up at the leader. "Now, Cinder step forward." Swan Moon meowed. Cinder got to her paws, stepping forward. "You have come of age to be an trainee, your mentor shall be Sky." Swan Moon meowed. Sky walked up to her, Sky was a orange and black Tortoiseshell she cat with green eyes. "The tradition is we lick each other's forehead only one time so that Moon Clan knows I'll be teaching you." Sky whispered, then licked Cinder's forehead. Cinder would nod and lick Sky's forehead.
