Cinder woke up to the birds above, yawning. She got to her paws. She suddenly felt like she needed to throw up. Pebble yawned behind her a few lengths away. "Cinder?" Pebble meowed. Cinder couldn't respond, she raced out the den. "Cinder?!" Pebble called, charging out the den behind her. Cinder charged out of camp, into the woods. She stopped, vomiting. Pebble stopped behind Cinder, watching her with surprise. "C-Cinder?" She meowed. Cinder stopped vomiting, looking at Pebble. "I-I'm fine." Cinder replied. Pebble raced to her side. "No your not." Pebble meowed, then she looked at Cinder's unusual belly. Pebble blinked in surprise. "Cinder. Uh. You have a mate?" Pebble asked. Cinder panted, looking at her. "No, why?" Cinder lied. Pebble hesitated, then sighed.

"Cinder- I think your pregnant." Pebble meowed. Cinder stared at her in silence. "N-no. I-I can't be. W-what do you mean you think I'm pregnant?!" Cinder hissed. "Cinder-" Pebble was interrupted by Cinder vomiting again. Cinder coughed. "Cinder, answer this one question for me." Pebble meowed. Cinder looked at her. "W-What?" She meowed. "I-Is Star secretly your mate?" Pebble meowed. Cinder looked down, silent. "C-Cinder, no. No-no." Pebble meowed. Cinder looked up at Pebble, tears in her eyes. "What am I going to do? Pebble, help me!" Cinder meowed, crying.

I-Is that why Eversky didn't visit me in my dream?- because I'm might be expecting Star's kits? I should've listened to her! I'm so dumb!

Pebble looked into Cinder's eyes. "Lay down, okay? Let's think." Pebble meowed. Cinder nodded, laying down, her paws beneath her. Pebble lay next to her. "Cinder, calm down, okay?" Pebble meowed. "O-Okay." Cinder meowed. "How long have you been pregnant? Does Star know?" Pebble asked. "I-I don't know! I didn't even know I was pregnant!" Cinder meowed. "Wait..you didn't?" She meowed. Cinder shook her head no. "I thought you would since it seems like your a good one moon in a half pregnant." Pebble meowed. "One moon in a half?!" Cinder meowed. "Yes, now I think it's too late for you to go back." Pebble meowed. "B-but I can't be pregnant! I-I'm too young! I just became a fully trained Tribe Cat!" Cinder meowed, her voice shaking. "I'm so sorry Cinder." Pebble meowed. Cinder paused, looking down at the ground. "Pebble, raise my kits for me. Raise them like they are your own." Cinder meowed. Pebble looked at her, wide eyed. "Cinder- no. A she cat's greatest treasure is her kits! I can't do that." Pebble meowed. "Please. While I'm pregnant, I'll make it seem like I'm eating a lot of prey when actually I'm pregnant. When I give birth, we could meet up somewhere where I'll give you the kits, you take them back to camp and if any cat questions it, say that you gave birth outside camp." Cinder meowed desperately. Pebble looked at her, pain in her eyes. "You can't make me- I won't do it. Your my sister." Pebble meowed, shaking her head. "Pebble, please! I'm begging you!" Cinder meowed loudly. Pebble started to cry. "Fine, okay?! Fine!" Pebble meowed, looking down at the ground as tears dripped. Pebble hugged her sister tightly, the rain that was pouring had stopped. The wind and leaves circling around them. "T-They'll never know who was truly their mother, will they?" Pebble meowed. Cinder sighed, shaking her head. "Oh, Cinder. I miss mom..If mom was here- she'd know what to do!" Pebble cried, still hugging Cinder. Cinder started to cry more. "I-I know!" Cinder meowed. "W-We need to go back to camp." Pebble meowed. "No. I don't want to see Star yet." Cinder meowed. "We, as sisters,  barely spend time together." Cinder meowed. "We could hunt for a while." Cinder meowed. "Maybe that's a good idea but be careful, your carrying kits." Pebble reminded her. "I know, how could I ever forget?" Cinder meowed. Pebble and Cinder got to their paws, padding into the forest.

Star paced inside the herb den. Puffin watched him, her eyes worried. "Star, what's wrong?" Puffin meowed. Star looked up at her, frowning. "P-Puffin. Cinder is pregnant.." Star meowed. Puffin looked at him, her eyes wide. "W-With who's kits?!" Puffin meowed, getting to her paws. Star looked into Puffin's eyes. "My kits." Star meowed. Puffin's claws dug into the ground. "Your kits?" Puffin meowed. "Yes." He meowed. "You told me you didn't love her anymore, what happened?!" Puffin hissed. "I don't- that's the thing. I didn't love her at all, I did it because.." Star meowed but his voice drifted away. "Because of the prophecy, isn't it?" Puffin meowed, her voice had a sharp tone to it. "I didn't want to die! Now that I've gotten deeper into the herbs an my talent- I don't want to die. Especially by Cinder. " Star growled. "In fact, I hate her. I only loved her so I could live!" Star meowed. "You meant for her to have kits?! But she didn't know a thing about it?!" Puffin yelled. Star looked at the ground. The thing was, he wasn't ashamed for it. At all. Cinder knew what she was getting herself into, she should have been more careful with him. Her fault, now she will suffer the consequences. "You realize what this means, right? You can't be a herb cat anymore. You broke the rules." Puffin hissed. "Wait..what? Your going to tell the tribe?" Star meowed. "Not yet, but soon." Puffin meowed. "Y-You can't!" Star hissed. Star got to his paws, his claws dug into the ground as he blocked the exit. Puffin hissed. "What are you going to do, Star? Kill your own mentor?" Puffin hissed. "I will if I have too!" Star growled. Puffin looked at him, she was surprised by how serious he was. Star wasn't the Star she seen many moons ago, he was different. "I'll tell them myself." Star meowed. "Soon, okay?!" He added. Puffin growled, then nodded. "You better, or else." Puffin meowed. Star glared at her, padding out the den. Puffin watched him leave. Cinder was young. Cinder doesn't know a thing about kits. Puffin couldn't believe the disaster that was approaching as each moon comes by.

Cinder laughed as she held a shrew in her jaws, Pebble held a mouse in her jaws. "Good catch, Cinder." Pebble meowed. Cinder nodded, smiling. "Feel any pain?" Pebble asked. Cinder panted. "No, not so far." Cinder meowed. "Good, let's head back." Pebble meowed. Cinder nodded. Both of them padded back to camp.

Pebble and Cinder padded into the camp entrance. Puffin was the first cat Cinder saw. Cinder looked at her. Puffin stood by the herb den. "I think Puffin wants you." Pebble meowed. Cinder nodded, padding towards Pebble.

Cinder lay down in the soft moss inside the herb den. Puffin sat beside her. "How long did you know you were pregnant?" Puffin meowed. "Just now." Cinder meowed, sighing. "I'm guessing your sister already knows." Puffin meowed. Cinder nodded. "Yeah, she does." Cinder meowed. "Star is the father, correct?" Puffin asked. Cinder nodded. "I see. Oh, Cinder, I'm very sorry." Puffin meowed, pain in her eyes. "It's okay, me and my sister have a plan." Cinder meowed, smiling though pain was in her eyes. "Giving away your kits isn't going to make your grief better, but I understand. You want them to have a good life. You do not want them to suffer for your mistakes.." Puffin meowed, looking down. Cinder nodded, trying not to cry. "I'll be by your side too, I won't tell the clan- I promise." Puffin meowed. "Thank you, Puffin." Cinder meowed. "I promise, Moon Clan is with you, every step of the way."  Puffin meowed. Puffin and Cinder hugged each other. What they didn't notice was Star was watching them from outside the den. Eversky behind him. "If you think you hurt some cat, you are wrong. Very wrong." Eversky whispered through the wind, her spirit only noticeable to Star. Star growled. "Shut up." Star hissed. Eversky shrugged, disappearing.

"The stars shall die by Cinder, as a new life awakes and the truth is revealed!"

"Only Cinder Can Stop The Darkness."
