Cinder woke up, yawning. She blinked, surprised to see that she was in complete darkness. She blindly walked towards the entrance. To her surprise, she felt only dirt block the entrance. Her fur began to rise. I'm trapped! She tried to let her eyes adjust to the darkness. The dirt must have collapsed while I slept.  She looked around, still unable to see. There was no light in sight. She felt a pang of sadness as she remembered what had happened the previous night. Is Moon Clan going to punish her by letting her starve to death? What about her kits? Will she ever see them? Cinder couldn't help, but to let tears take control. She silently cried as she backed away from the entrance, and deeper into the den. Why did she even need to get out of the tunnels anyway? She almost killed the cat she loved, her kits are gone, her sister is gone, everyone she knows and loves are gone. She buried her face into her paws as she laid down, wanting sleep to take her away.

"Cinder."

Cinder woke up, bags under her eyes. She blinked, seeing a glowing cat by the entrance of the den. She adjusted her eyes to the light, her vision clearing. Her fur stood on end as she stared at the cat before her. The glowing cat was a she cat, with grey tabby fur, and a garnet-red colored tail. "Cinder." The she-cat meowed, her voice echoing through the den, filling the room. Cinder flinched at the importance in the she-cat's voice, her voice seemed courageous and strong. Something Cinder hadn't been in a long time. The she-cat stepped forward. "Most of Moon Clan has lost it's faith in you." She flicked her tail, her chin high, "the prophecy needs you."                       Cinder stared at the she-cat, her eyes wide with anxiety. She felt empty inside, like a hallow earth. "W-why does it matter? The prophecy will be completed anyways." Cinder managed to choke out, her claws digging into the dirt. It's not like me hiding is going to change anything anyway...

"No!"

Cinder suddenly felt sharp teeth grab her scruff, pulling her up without a chance to breath. Suddenly, she was flung to the wall. Cinder hissed as she felt the sharp dirt hit her back, and slide down her side. She slid down the wall, hissing. "Why did you do that?" She yelled, mostly in pain. "You have it completely wrong." The she-cat meowed, her tail lashing with such fury, Cinder thought she'd be swept away at any moment. Cinder felt rage bubble inside her. "You've been such a jerk at everything we've thrown at you." The she-cat hissed, her claws digging into the ground. "Why should I care? You're all depending on me, so I get to choose when, and how I do things!" Cinder retorted, getting to her paws. If she wants to fight, she can!  Cinder's tail lashed. "You've become a bitter cat, just seeing you makes me sick." She hissed at her. Cinder couldn't handle it anymore, without another thought, she charged at the she-cat. The she-cat dodged, but Cinder was quicker. Cinder grabbed the she-cat by the scruff and threw her onto ground. "I choose things around here!" Cinder hissed. The she-cat raised to her paws. To Cinder's surprise, the she-cat met her eyes with strong and determined eyes. "Just because you have a way harder life doesn't mean you just get to hurt, claw, and tear cat's apart whenever you want just because you're angry." The she-cat calmly said, but Cinder could hear the anger rising in her voice. "I don't even do that-" Before Cinder could finish, the she-cat pounced on her. Rolling in claws, and fur, she hissed. The she-cat pinned Cinder to the ground, her tail lashing. "Prophecies aren't things that will happen in the future." The she-cat growled. "prophecies are things that have a possibility to happen in order for the best outcome."  Her lashing tail calmed as a breeze swept through the den. Cinder stared, her fur on end. She didn't know what to say. The she-cat glared at her for a moment, before moving her gaze to the ground beside Cinder. She kept in her position in silence for what seemed like countless moons. Then, after a few minutes of silence, she spoke.  "If you keep on acting like this, your sister, and everyone you love will be lost forever." The she-cat meowed, grief in her voice.

"How am I-"

"It is your destiny, your kits need you." The she-cat meowed.

"M-my kits?" Cinder's green eyes widen. Her kits were alive, and safe?!

"The stars shall die by Cinder, as a new life awakes and the truth is revealed!"

"Only Cinder Can Stop The Darkness."
