Cinder tiredly padded to the trainee den. Her tail drooping as it dragged along the dry dirt.

Finally I can rest, that battle training tired me out! So many skills and everything. How will I be sure I can fight properly tomarrow? It's a good thing the Tribe Code doesn't allow other cats in battle to kill each other, instead leave them wounded. I'm still at great risk though.

Cinder yawned as she dropped into her moss bedding, her sister padding in right behind her. Cinder closed her eyes as she drifted to much needed sleep.

Cinder ran in a foggy forest, not sure why she was running. She stopped dead in her tracks, turning behind her. She was ready to see the dark glowing cat but instead it was her mother, Clover. "Mom?" Cinder meowed. Clover looked so frightened as she gazed behind Cinder. "Mom? What is it?" Cinder asked. Suddenly a cat from behind Cinder jumped over her and on to Clover. "Mom!" Cinder called. Suddenly a voice rang in the forest, so loud and echo like.

"When Battle Strikes, The Clover Shall Break!" It meowed.

Cinder couldn't believe what she was hearing. Till she figured it out.

"My mom is going to die!"

Cinder gasped awake, she turned her head to the entrance of the den. The sky was orange and pinkish with dawn.

That dream, it wasn't a warning! It's what is going to happen in the future! Is Moon Clan telling me to change it?

Cinder padded out quickly, scanning the clearing. No cat was awake at the moment it seemed. Cinder turned, padding back into the den, she suddenly noticed her sister and Thrush not sleeping in their nest. Matter of fact, they were not there at all. She rolled her eyes. It was obvious her sister liked him. She turned, padding out the den again as she sat outside the den, thinking.

Can I stop the future? Like how Star can see in cats dreams and dreams they previously had? I should tell Puffin or Star about this, they will know what to do. I hope so anyways.

Cinder got to her paws again, racing to the treatment den. "Puffin." Cinder meowed, her green eyes shining slightly in the still dark treatment den. Puffin raised her head up from where she was sleeping. "Cinder? Is that you? I need to talk to you." Puffin meowed, it sounded as if she had been awake for a while now. "I have something to tell you as well!" Cinder meowed. Puffin sighed as Cinder lay next to her. "But you can go first, though." Cinder meowed, looking at Puffin. Puffin nodded, closing her eyes. "When I told the clan about the message our ancestors, Moon Clan, had sent me, I was wrong." Puffin meowed, she opened her eyes as she looked at Cinder with such concern. Cinder felt fear strike up in her like lighting. Did Puffin have the same dream she had too? "Wrong? Wrong about what?- Tell me please." Cinder meowed, her eyes filled with curiosity and fear that she might be right, that her mother was going to die. "Cinder, I always knew how close you were to your mother. You and Pebble both were. I always knew you never knew who your father was, which I understand." Puffin meowed, she looked as if she was trying to bite back what she was really trying to say. "Cinder, your father was a horrible cat, he only used she cats and thought they were prey that could easily be killed. He left the clan moons before you and Pebble were born." Puffin meowed. Cinder felt frustration swell up in her. She didn't want to know about what some brainless cat that left her family did! She could care less about her father that left her, she was focused on the family she had now. The family that was with her since day one, the family that stood by her side! The family that she loved and known. All of Cinder's thoughts stopped as she saw a tear go down Puffin's cheeks and reach the ground. "Puffin?" Cinder meowed. Puffin turned, her eyes glossy with sadness. Why was Puffin sad? She wasn't going to die. Did Cinder's father do something to her that was unforgettable? Cinder looked at Puffin, her green eyes blinking.
