Cinder open her eyes to Eversky, looking at her with wide eyes. Cinder, surprised by this, jumped to her paws. Eversky smiled. "Hello, Cinder." She meowed. Cinder calmed down, then smiled at Eversky. "Eversky! I thought I wasn't going to see you again." She meowed, purring. Eversky purred a response.

"So how's things going with Star?" Eversky asked, sitting down. "Wait you know about..me and Star?" She asked. Eversky nodded. "I told you before, I watch over you." She meowed. "Oh, that makes sense now." Cinder meowed. "We're doing great! He's so friendly and more open to me than before. He really does love me!" Cinder meowed. Eversky laughed, smiling. "Clearly. Though be careful, you are still a trainee." She warned. "Oh, I know. But wouldn't it be nice if we lived in a world where me and Star could be together? Nothing would stop us then." Cinder purred, her eyes glowing with delight. Eversky looked at the ground doubtfully, before faking a smile to Cinder. "O-Of course, yes. That would be great. Though, that isn't the world we live in, Cinder." Eversky meowed. "I know that, but wouldn't it be nice to be with the cat you love? Without nobody stopping you, without rules?" Cinder meowed. Eversky sighed, then looked at her. "Yeah, it would. Unfortunately, it isn't the world we live in." She reminded her, yet again. Cinder sighed. "Why do you have to be such a bummer, Eversky? Have you ever been in love since your a Herb Cat and all?" Cinder meowed, rolling her eyes. Eversky gasped, her claws digging into the ground. "Yes- No. I haven't." Eversky meowed, looking away. "Okay then, maybe you should stop acting like you know what love is when you've never been through it." Cinder meowed. Eversky whipped around to her. "Don't tell me I don't know what love is, if anything I should feel pity for you!" Eversky retorted. "Excuse me-" "Your excused! In fact, you can wake up now if all your going to do is act like you know everything." Eversky retorted once more. Cinder, feeling offended, snorted. "Fine!" She retorted.

Cinder woke up to Star poking her. "Cinder." He meowed. "Yeah?" Cinder meowed. "How was your sleep?" He meowed. "Good." She meowed, getting to her paws as she dust the dirt off herself. "That's nice." He purred, he moved a squirrel towards her. "I thought you might be hungry." He meowed. Cinder purred, how nice of him!

What does Eversky even know about love anyway? She's just jealous because I have some cat and she only has friends.

Cinder purred as she ate the squirrel. "We should head back before every cat wakes up and start asking questions." Star suggested. "Yeah, lets go." She meowed, turning. Star and Cinder raced through the woods. Star and Cinder padded through the bushes, their tails low and silent as they hoped no cat was up. As Cinder looked around, no cat was awake. Cinder sighed in relief as she nodded towards Star. Star nodded back before padding into the medicine den. Cinder, careful not to make any sound that would disturb her tribe mates, padded into the trainee den. She watched the sleeping trainee's with relief. She sat down in the small patch of moss, her paws tucked neatly under her. She closed her eyes, trying to go to sleep again but sleep just wouldn't come to her. Her eyes stayed closed but she wasn't asleep. She heard paw steps enter the den.

She scented Thrush.

Opening an eye she saw Thrush beside her sleeping sister, watching her sleep. But something was wrong, very wrong. Thrush silently stroked Pebble's head with his claws softly as she slept. A strange smile grew on his face.

Why is he stroking Pebble's head like that and, whats up with his face?

Thrush thankfully didn't notice Cinder, but the thought of him noticing her made her feel weird. Wouldn't it be weird to be spying on your sister's future mate and then unexpectedly get noticed? That situation Cinder did not want to be in at all. Though Cinder wanted to stop spying, her curiosity was stronger. She kept watching. Thrush stopped stroking Pebble's head as she began to wake up. "What is it?" Pebble asked. "I need to show you something. It's special, just like you." He meow. Pebble, still sleepy, yawned. "Maybe a little bit later." She responded. "We don't have later, we must go now." Thrush meowed softly. Pebble yawned once more, getting to her paws. "Okay then. Let's go." She meowed, nodding. Thrush leaded her out the den as Pebble followed. Cinder tilted her head, no longer sleepy anymore, she got to her paws.
