Cinder's head poked out the wet huge bush that leads to the inside of the camp. The rain still poured down into her fur as she padded inside. She felt embarrassed to be at the same place that she had cried and ran out of with every cat watching. She was thankful only a few cats were in the clearing, but to her surprise, a certain cat was in the clearing as well.Star.
Cinder thought, she still had feelings for him even after what happened, but what can she do about them now? Star sat outside the treatment den, looking at her with no expression. Cinder didn't want to apologize for only following her heart. Not at all. Cinder stopped walking, looking at him. She suddenly heard a voice echo in her mind. She felt as if darkness had crowded her eyesight as she felt like she was in a complete darkness. Suddenly, little white dots started to cover the blackness that swept her. A paw with its claws unsheathed slashed at the white dot like stars as the white dot like stars disappeared beneath its paws. Suddenly, a cat that looked like it was screaming yowled in the stars absence. What did this mean? Suddenly, she heard a voice yell. "The stars shall die by Cinder, as a new life awakes and the truth is revealed!"
The voice echoed, Cinder's eyes widen. Is it a vision? She blinked, everything was normal. Star must had the voices too, how he was looking in narrowed eyes.
Does he know what it means? Is something bad going to happen? What truth is there to reveal?
Cinder thought. Without answering her own question, Cinder turned and padded into the Trainee den. Her fur was soaked as she lay in the moss, cleaning it and trying to warm it up. The other trainee's in the den were sleeping, all for except her sister. Pebble stared at her from across the den, laying in the moss. Cinder looked at her, blinking. Pebble got to her paws and padded up to her.
"Cinder, I was worried about you." She meowed.
Worried about me? That's a first in moons! Why just now would you be worried about me?
Cinder looked away. "Why do you care? You've been swooning over Thrush that I'm surprised that you care." Cinder replied. Pebble paused, looking at her paws, her tail curled slightly as it lay on the ground. "I know, a-and I'm sorry, okay? A cat like Thrush just needs a lot of attention. Plus, he said we'll be mates when we get older. But this is not about me, it's about you." Pebble meowed, looking at Cinder. "You worry me." She meowed. Cinder's eyes widen. "How?" Cinder asked. "Every cat saw what had happened yesterday, and no doubt theres going to be gossip." Pebble meowed. Cinder looked at her. "I know." She meowed. "Cinder, please be careful. As your sister and as your friend, I want to know your safe. You can't keep going like this." Pebble meowed. Cinder's ear flicked as she looked away once more. "One day Cinder, your going to get yourself in a lot of terrible things, and there might not be a way out." Pebble meowed. Cinder got to her paws, not wanting to listen to her sister no longer. Why must she be warned about every paw step she takes in life? Why does it seem like every paw step she does take, it ends up being the wrong one? Cinder turned, padding out the den as her tail dragged behind her. "Cinder!" Pebble meowed, getting to her paws. Cinder saw that it wasn't raining as bad as a few minutes ago, in fact the rain was only now little droplets. Not caring if her sister wanted her to leave or not, Cinder raced to the tribe cat den.
She padded inside, her tail brushing the exit. She saw all the sleeping tribe cats, wondering where her mentor could be. She suddenly scented Sky, her mentor. Sky poked her heard through the den. Cinder whipped around to see her.
"Cinder!" Sky meowed, half surprised and half worriedly.
"Hey, Sky. Should we continue with training?" Cinder asked.
Sky blinked at Cinder. "Oh. Training? Right, right. Of course- uhm. I thought maybe you needed a few days off training because-" Sky's voice softens to the point Cinder could not hear her.
Sky looked down for a moment.
