Epilogue: An Open Letter

Hello, darlings,

It has been quite the run, hasn't it? Who would have thought my story would go on as long as it has? From the moment Derek and the others walked into New Orleans, you have been with me every step of the way. From every mishap (and there have been a few) to every fight. From every death to every life, you have been with me.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I would not have survived this long without you.

But now, it is time for my story to end. Over a thousand years of drama, and it is finally time. I have my family, and I have a happy life. But it is time to say goodbye.

Fear not, my friends. We will see each other again. One day, you'll think back about me, and you will remember. I hope I impacted your lives as much as you have impacted mine.

Thank you for following me along my path to find my happy ending. Thank you for believing in me every step of the way. Thank you,

Hello, readers!

I cannot believe it has been four years since I began writing Lexi's story. It has been such a whirlwind, I cannot even describe it. 

I want to start off by saying thank you from the bottom of my heart. I do not know where I would be without writing, and your constant support and love has carried me through my high school years. Lexi has been with me through my ups and downs, and so have you. I am so grateful for everything you have done. 

After four years, Lexi is like my baby. It is her time to grow up and take on the world for herself. With Teen Wolf and The Originals ending this year/last year, Lexi's story has come to a close. After eight/nine books, I am setting her free. I will never forget Lexi and what she has done for me. And I will never forget the stories I've had with her and you over four years. 

Again, I am eternally grateful for you. Thank you for everything.
