Lexi and Rebekah stand before their eldest sister, touching up the long wedding dress dawning Freya's body. The eldest witch looks solemn as she stares ahead of her. When Lexi notices the look, she sighs. "I'm sure he would be here if he could."

"Yeah," Freya says monotonously. "Maybe we were expecting too much."

Lexi and Rebekah exchange a look. "Well, it's time," Rebekah says lightly as she puts on a smile. "No one deserves this more than you."

With a final dazzling smile, Rebekah grips her bouquet and takes her walk down the aisle.

Lexi stands beside Freya, looking out at the crisp air around them. "I know it's not perfect, but no wedding is. The next time I see Elijah, I'll give him hell."

Freya shakes her head. "It's alright, Alexis."

Lexi sends her a sad look before Klaus' blonde hair catches her eye. "You here to wish our sister luck?" She asks without turning to him.

Klaus rolls his eyes. "If it's not too presumptuous, perhaps I might escort you," he says to Freya.

The eldest witch smiles softly. Before she can nod, a voice draws all of their attention. "Not if I have anything to say about it," Elijah says as he steps up beside her.

Lexi sends him a cold glare. "You're late."

He sends her a playful smile. "Fashionably so."

Lexi rolls her eyes, squeezes Freya's hand, and walks down the aisle with her bouquet of white roses. She nods at the small gathering near the altar as she takes her place beside Keelin. The werewolf hugs her tightly, thanking her softly.

"Enjoy the day," Lexi whispers back as music fills the air. "Oh shit, I have to record this for my family."

Keelin chuckles as Lexi takes a step back and pulls her phone from her clutch. She hits the record button as Freya, Klaus, and Elijah walk down the aisle, Freya's arms around her brothers'.

Once Freya situates herself beside Keelin, Klaus and Elijah back down towards Rebekah, Marcel, and Davina. Hope stands beside the rings. Elijah makes certain he is as far away from Lexi as possible.

"Dearly beloved," Kol begins, clasping his hands in front of him. "Now, not to make this all about me, but we know how families work. Sometimes it's dinner, and sometimes it's daggers."

"He's talking about you, Nik," Lexi mutters, even though everyone can hear her.

Kol chuckles and shakes his head as Klaus sends her a glare. "Now, I don't know why it takes something as special as this to wake us up, to make us aware of the beauty in the moment, during the moment, or to be grateful for what we have while we have it.

"Now, I, for one, am grateful for today, and I am grateful for all of us." Kol turns to Keelin with a smile. "Keelin, when I first met you, I would have never predicted that you would become my sister. You are strong and beautiful, and deserve nothing but the best in life."

As she watches, Lexi's mind wanders. She thinks of her own wedding, full of color and full of panic.

Lexi paces the length of the room, chewing on her thumb. Hayley stands at the door with her arms crossed. "Lexi, you have to breathe."

"Breathing is for the weak," Lexi mutters. "I can't breathe, Hayley."

"Then talk me through it." Hayley pushes off the door and walks forward. "What's wrong?"
