Klaus storms around the compound, Marcel's words echoing in his ears. Elijah had been lying—he remembers them. He remembers all of them.

That rage boils over when he sees Elijah before the large white doors between them and their freedom. "You've been lying to us all day!" Klaus yells.

Elijah starts as he turns towards the voice. With a frown, he shakes his head. He opens his mouth to speak, but Klaus cuts him off.

You remember everything!"

"I remember nothing," Elijah replies as the other Mikaelsons file into the room. He notices the new key in the youngest blonde's hands and almost sighs in relief. One more key down. Her husband only glares at him. He also notices that the oldest, Freya, is no longer in the chambre. "For all I know, I was born at a bus stop sixteen years ago."

"Lie," Klaus sneers. Lexi steps up behind him, her eyes darting between her brothers.

"Why would I lie? I want out of here as bad as you."

Kol steps between the siblings. "What's going on?"

Klaus grimaces and glares directly at Elijah. "Our brother has been deliberately repressing his memories to keep us trapped here."

"I am not your brother!" Elijah shouts. "And I didn't ask for any of this."

Lexi clenches her jaw as Derek's muscle bulge under his t-shirt. His canines bite into his lips enough for blood to trickle down his chin.

"You most certainly did ask for this," Rebekah says. "It's not like you held a family vote before you decided to erase all of us."

"You ever consider the possibility that perhaps you don't even want me back? I mean, it seems to me that I make you all incredibly miserable."

"We all make each other miserable!" Lexi says, throwing her hands up. "We are family, Elijah, and we made a vow. Always and forever."

"I made another vow!" Elijah shouts back. Tears gather in the corners of his eyes as he chokes them back. "And the woman that I pledged my life to is out there, and she is dying. So, if you believe in any way that I am your family, then I am begging you. Help me."

Lexi glances back at Derek. The werewolf shakes his head slightly, turning away from the amnesiac. Elijah watches as pain flashes across the woman's face. She looks back at Elijah, letting all of her grief into her expression. He flinches as she turns her back on him.

Surprisingly, it is Klaus who steps forward. "When Vincent and Marcel were recovering your memories, what did you see?"

"A white corridor," Elijah replies. "A long white corridor with a red door."

"That's where you hide the things you don't want to remember," Kol says. "You've been doing it for a thousand years. Lexi's version is a forest."

Lexi snaps her gaze up to glare at Kol. "Shut it, Kol."

The Original steps closer to Rebekah.

"Then what happened?" Rebekah asks Elijah, glancing away from Lexi.

"I tried to open the door." Elijah's throat closes up as he remembers the feeling. "The handle was on fire. It was searing heat and my chest felt like it was being torn apart." He does not notice the Hales' interests being peaked. "I mean, I've been in broad daylight without my ring, and I've never, ever experienced any heat like it."

"So, you know how it feels to have your flesh melt from your bones?" Lexi asks, her voice lethally calm. "To have your insides turned to lava? To have your ribs broken under force and ripped from your body?" Elijah's eyes drift to the floor. "Look at me." His eyes meet her's. "Because that's what they felt."
