"So this is where the Evil Queen lives?" Jungkook cocked his brow in your direction, a hint of a smirk teasing his lips.
You chose to ignore him and grabbed a bag of crisps from the cupboard before sitting down opposite to him, "It's also where she plans. Sit." You ordered, ruffling up the pillows next to you.
For once Jungkook abided and not so gently dropped down onto the seat next to you.
It felt weird to have him so close to you; so close that your arms would causally brush against each others as you reached for another crisp and feel the warmth radiating from his body if you dared to lean forward too much.
Gulping you tried to force your thoughts away.
What was happening to you?
You hated the guy, right?
"So," you rubbed your hands together, "Everyone will be there tonight, I may have forgotten their names and I need you to help me."
He nodded, "Ok but let's make this quick because-"
The abrupt opening of your door caused the conversation to halt momentarily.
You both looked up.
"Rin?" You questioned, "What are you doing here?"
Rin observed you in curiosity, her eyes constantly flickering between the both of you as she noticed the close gap between your bodies.
She raised a brow.
"What are you doing here?" She ricocheted back, the gleam in her eyes hinting at something you didn't want to think about.
You sighed, "This is Jungkook, a client of mine. He's helping me remember some important information ready for tonight's party."
Rin's eyes lit up, "A party?"
You rolled your eyes, "Oh no sister, you are not coming. This is for business only, plus they don't even know you."
Rin scoffed, "As if that has stopped me before."
You frowned, "It will this time."
She pouted, "Please, I promise I won't be in the way and if anyone asks you can say I'm a Wedding Planner trying to help you or some shit."
You massaged your head in frustration, "Fine, but as long as it's okay with Jungkook."
You both turned to the unamused boy.
He sighed, "Fine but only because I'm in a rush and I don't have time to argue."
Rin jumped in excitement, "Thank you so much! I promise I will be on my best behaviour."
Jungkook turned away from her unbothered, "Anyways," he pulled out his phone, "These are the groomsmen, Taehyung, Namjoon, Yoongi, Jin and Hoseok."
You pointed, "Hoseok is the one people sometimes call Jhope, isn't he?"
Jungkook nodded in satisfaction, "You remembered, I'm impressed Y/N."
What?
You froze slightly.
Did Jungkook actually say something nice for once?
Rin coughed breaking your mini-moment, "Jhope sounds familiar... Are you sure I've never met anyone going?"
You gave her a look, "When would you have met them?"
She pondered for a moment before agreeing, "Yeah, you're right."
"Are you sure there's nothing else you need to know?" Jungkook interrupted, as he put his phone back into his pocket.
You shuck your head, "No I don't think so."
He suddenly winked at you, "Ok, so I'll pick you up at 7:00pm?"
Why did my cheeks heat up when he said that?
It was just a simple question, it's not like he actually likes you.
You looked away embarrassed, "Okay."
Sensing your uncomfortableness he smirked, "Cya later then beautiful."
Oh jeez.
"Yep, bye." You waved and forced your attention on something else.
You could hear him chuckle just before the door slammed shut.
What an ass.
