"What does Love mean to you?"
This was the question I put forth in front of my friends and guess what they had to say about the most complex thing in the world,
"It's a chemical reaction." Mitali uttered, rubbing her eyes. She was a late riser.
"Wait, did you just quote Rick and Morty?" Ruhaan asked, chuckling.
"Hey, it's 10 am in the morning. My brain doesn't start functioning until late in the afternoon, you know that." Mitali threw back.
I chuckled with the rest.
Tapasya threw a cushion at her and answered," I think Love is the strongest force the world possesses , and yet it is the humblest imaginable."
"O my God , that's so deep.Have you being studying a lot ,Tappu?"Aditya asked and grinned like an idiot.Tapasya passed him a mocking glare, but said nothing.
"So Adi , what does love mean to you?"
"Love is..."he trailed off. "Knowing every little flaw of a person and still wanting to be with that person."
As him and Mitali shared a glance, Tapasya coughed.
"When did my Adi grow up so much?" She uttered, feigning tears. Ruhaan chuckled beside her while Adi gave her a poker face.
"What about you Ruhaan?"
" I feel Love is an irresistible desire to be irresistibly desired" he answered.
Tapasya smiled lightly."And in non-poetic terms that would be....?" Adi mocked. Ruhaan rolled his eyes at him.
"Now me, now me!" shouted Shayantani. I nodded, smiling.
"I think love is like the wind. You can't see it but you can feel it."
"That's so thoughtful." Ananya said .
" What do you think , Ananya?" I asked.
She grinned slightly and answered,"Love isn't something you find . It is something that finds you." Saying that , she squeezed Daksh's hand.
"That's cute. What about you , Sahil?"
"Love is just a word . Until someone comes along and gives it meaning" he answered and looked at Shayantani. She blushed.
" Alright, so, I have almost covered everyone except for you, Daksh. So tell me, what is love for you?" I questioned.
"Love is a serious mental disease" he said. Ananya slapped his arm and he yelled,"Ouch!"
"Seems like you guys have conflicting notions about the four- letter word!" I exclaimed.
"Yeah, but one thing's common though." Tapasya said.
"What's that?"
" No matter whatever we say, we all believe in that four-letter word" Tapasya answered.
"Yeah, that's true." All of them chorused.
