Ruhaan: Okay, so we need to get approval on the theme for the decoration of the halls and the stage for the singing competition. Mitali , did you finish selecting the theme for the dance competition?
Mitali turned to him and answered,
Mitali: Yeah......But I'm still confused between these two. Look.
Ruhaan went up to her and looked over her shoulder.
Mitali: One is ' Blast from the Past' and the other one is'Lights, Camera and Dancing!'. I'm literally confused which one's better.
Ruhaan examined both the themes for a minute and then ,
Ruhaan: I think 'Blast from The Past' would be good. But still, we can consult Miss Raima ,if you want.
Mitali: That's better.
Ruhaan: Alright, let's go then.
They headed for the staff room.
Mitali: So......
Ruhaan: What's wrong?
Mitali: Why would anything be wrong?
Ruhaan: When a girl starts her sentence with "So", and then she takes a long pause, that means she wants to say something but she won't. Instead, she'll just drag everything out of the guy.
Mitali: Whoa! So you have knowledge about girls too!
Ruhaan: Aur nahi to kya! Log mujhe aise hi gyani nahi kehte! Books ke alawa bhi bohot kuch ache se study kar leta hu main.
Mitali:(laughingly) Acha! Gyani Baba!
Ruhaan: Anyways, jokes apart, tum kya bol rahi thi?
Mitali: Ha....voh.... Shayantani kehti hai ki agar kisi se friendship karni ho to use janna bohot jaruri hota hai. To mai soch rahi thi , ki agar hume best partners banna hi hai to ek dusre ko janna bhi hoga, right?
Ruhaan considered the point gravely for a second.
Ruhaan: Hmm
Mitali: Mai bas tumhari story janna chahti hu. That's it.
Ruhaan: Bore ho jaogi. Meri koi interesting story nahi hai.
Mitali: Kisne kaha ki story ka interesting hona zaruri hai? Sabki story hoti hai. Tumhari bhi hogi. So why not give it a try?
Ruhaan looked at her for a second and said,
Ruhaan: Thik hai. Par mai tumhe na bore hone ki koi guarantee nahi de sakta!
Mitali: (Smilingly) Chalega!

Tapasya's mind was not at all in her work. She was distracted. The picture of Ruhaan and Mitali together was just not leaving her mind. She tried to dismiss the thought but in vain. That was all she could think of.
Adi: Tappu, what do you think about this topic for the debate competition?
But Tapasya seemed too distracted to give him much attention. Getting no response, Adi shook her by her arm . That brought her back to reality.
Taps:Huh?
Adi: Tappu, tera dhyan kaha hai? Mai tujhse kab se keh raha hu ki Debate Competition ke liye topic choose kar, aur tu koi jawaab hi nahi de rahi hai! Yaar, ek to iss Ruhaan ne mujhe Debate aur Speech competition ka in charge banaya hai! Dono mein hi mujhe koi interest nahi hai! Abe interest to chor, aaj tak maine kabhi participate tak nahi kiya in competitions mein!
Taps: Hm.....
Adi: Tappu, hua kya hai tujhe? Kya soch rahi hai? Mai itna kuch bak gaya, aur tune bas 'Hm' kaha?
Taps: Kuch nahi, Adi. Kaam pe dhyan de.
Adi: Oh Hello! Mai pichle 10 mins se kaam pe hi dhyan de raha hu! Voh tu hai , jo pata nahi kya soch rahi hai!
Taps: Chup kar na, Adi.
Adi: Tappu , sab thik hai hai na?
Taps: Hai yaar, sab thik hai. Bas.....
Adi: Bas kya?
Taps: Voh........Tujhe aisa nahi lagta ki.......
Adi: Ki?
Taps: Ki.....Ru aur Mitali......
Adi: Tappu, yaar jaldi bol! Sham ko Masi ke ghar jana hai!
Tapasya made a poker face while Adi clutched his stomach and laughed. Tapasya smacked his arm.
Adi: Ow!
Taps: Tujhse baat karna hi bekar hai!
Adi: Acha sorry, baba! Bol kya bol rahi thi?
Taps: Voh......Mai meeting ke baad Elliston Hall vapas gayi thi. I forgot something, to vahi pick up karne gayi thi. And I saw........
Adi: Kya?
Taps: I saw Ru and Mitali.......standing really close......and .....................laughing.
Adi: To isme problem kya hai?
Taps: Adi, you don't understand. They were standing really close. And voh......aise baat kar rahe the jaise ki.....bachpan se friends ho!
Adi: Tu kya bol rahi hai , Tappu?
Taps: Yaar, tu samajh kyu nahi raha hai.....
As usual, realization took it's time and dawned Adi. He opened his mouth and then closed it.
Adi: To tujhe...iss baat se problem ho rahi hai ki......voh dono ek sath jyada time spend kar rahe hai?
Tappu: Ha!
Adi: Ha?
Tapasya realized her mistake and quickly tried to cover it up.
Taps: Mera matlab hai ki.......uh.....Ru ek bohot acha ladka hai aur...Mitali...is just his opposite. Mufat hai. Nothing bounds her. She says whatever is in her mind.
Ruhaan: Now you are just confusing me, yaar! Tu uski buraiyaa bata rahi hai ya uski tareef kar rahi hai?
Taps: Mai bas sach bol rahi hu. She and Ru just don't fit together.
Adi: Why do you think that they want to fit in together?They are working together, right? To kisi baat pe has rahe honge.
Taps: Par phir Mitali uske kandhe par hath kyu rakhegi?!
Adi: Tappu, ek baat bolu?
Taps: Kya?
Adi: Mujhe na kahi se jalne ki bu aa rahi hai!
Tapasya was at a loss of words. She opened her mouth but nothing came out of it.
Adi: Sach mein! Tera muh dekhne layakh hai!
Taps: Adi, yaar mazak mat kar!
Adi: Aye! Mazak nahi karunga to kya karunga?!
Taps: Mai jealous nahi hu. I'm just........
Adi: Tu jealous nahi hai to tujhe itni problem kyu ho rahi? I mean, Ru kisi ke sath bhi hangout kare, why would you bother?
Tapasya's face flushed with embarrassment.
Taps: Argh!
And she huffily walked out of the music hall. Adi chuckled at the retreating figure.

Guys, I know this chapter is short. Sorry, I have really less time during weekends as I have to attend my Dance Class. But, I promise next chapter would be a long one and with lots of surprises!
