Chapter - 15 MAD

Kabir's laugh was adding fuel to his anger. Adi clenched his fists and chased him through the college corridors.

"You'll never be able to get me, Sinha!", saying that he laughed some more. Adi was now hot under the collar. He increased his pace. He just ran and ran , without realizing his surroundings.

Mitali and Daksh were coming from the opposite direction. Mitali suddenly spotted a guy running towards them, holding a bag high above his head.The guy didn't pay any attention to them and ran past them. Before Mitali could recover from the shock, someone bumped into her. Both of them fell down. Mitali yelled in pain,"Ow!!"

She saw that it was Adi. They shared an eyelock. It was a beautiful moment, but, in an awkward place. Until,

" Bro, tu nahi sudhrega , hai na? Ladki dekhi nahi, ki uske sath romance karna shuru kar diya!", Kabir snorted with laughter.

Adi apologized to Mitali and chased after Kabir. Daksh pulled Mitali up.

Daksh: Who was that?

Mitali: A dork. Leave it.It's not that important.

Saying that, her eyes maneuvered over her wrist and she found something missing. Her watch. It wasn't on her wrists. She realized that it must have been misplaced when Adi bumped into her. 

"That Dork!",she said.

Saying that , she ran in the direction  Adi had gone, leaving behind a clueless Daksh.

The chase  led Kabir and Adi to the terrace. When Adi got to the terrace, he found Kabir standing in a corner and playing with Adi's bag.

Adi: Give me that back, Malhotra.

Kabir: Oh.....so you caught me(in a mocking voice).

Adi: (angrily) I'm saying it the last time. Give me my bag back.

Kabir: (Sarcastically) Oooh, I'm sacred.

Adi angrily gritted his teeth.

Kabir: (smirking) Here, bro, you can have your bag back.I just wanted to have a little fun, that's it.

Saying that he extended the bag towards Adi. Adi looked at him and reached for his bag. Within a flick of a second, Kabir pulled it back.

Kabir: Not so easy, buddy. Come on, get it from me.

Adi: Malhotra, I swear....

Before he could even finish his sentence , Mitali burst open through the doors of the terrace. Kabir looked over his shoulders to peer at her.

Adi turned and faced Mitali. He gulped. He didn't want her to get involved in the fight or see that he was being bullied by Kabir.

Mitali: Hey!Ozzy! You've got my watch.

Adi: Mitali, can you please not.....

Mitali: Look I have no interest in your( glancing at Kabir)...activities. I just want my watch back.

Adi: I'll give it back, I promise. Just not now,please.

Mitali sensed something wrong.

Mitali: What's going on?

Kabir came up to her, still looking at her lasciviously.

Kabir: I'll tell you.

Adi: You say one word and your head will be in your hands!

Kabir: So.....Mitali.....what do you wanna know?

Mitali: Nothing. I just want my watch back.

Kabir: Well, Adi here, wants his bag back.
