Chapter - 16 The Cultural Committee

So the question that I asked in the previous chapter was answered by many of you, and none of you could guess the correct answer! The answer to the question is M for Mitali , and AD is for Aditya!

I know it's a little stupid, but hey, that's me! Anyways, the only person whose answer was a little close to the actual answer was :

Now back to the story:

Next Day

Tapasya and Ruhaan cluelessly stood in front of the Dean's office, unaware of the reason for the Dean's sudden want to see them both. After Mishra Sir came out of the office, the Dean called both of them inside. He greeted them with a stern look on his face.

Taps&Ru: Good Morning , Sir.

Dean: Good Morning. I suppose you don't have the slightest idea of why I called you both.

They shook their head in a "No"

Dean: Well, I think you both are well aware that the Inter College Meet is being hosted by us this year. And I want our college to be the best like always. So I held a meeting with the professors and all the other officials to discuss the organization of the meet and in that meeting we all had decided that we are gonna set up a cultural committee which is going to look after the whole organisation for the meet.

Tapasya and Ruhaan exchanged looks.

Dean: And for that the professors have selected a few students which includes you both as well. I have decided that you both would be the head of this committee and look after the group's activities. Is that clear?

They nodded.

Dean: Here(taking out a list), these are the names of those who are suggested by the professors. There are total 6 of them, excluding  you both. Go through the list once and then you can hold a meeting to discuss the whole propaganda.Alright?

Taps: Yes sir.

Dean: Good. You both can go.

 They nodded and went out. They went to the music hall and were just going through the list.

Taps: Hmm, so let's see who is there in this committee.

Ruhaan scanned the list with his eyes.

Ruhaan: There's Adi, Shayantani, Sahil, some guy named Daksh Verma,Ananya  and........

Ruhaan gulped seeing the next name. Seeing his face, Tapasya took the list from his hands and read the last name,

Taps: Mitali Gupta.

Ruhaan looked at her nervously.

Taps: It's okay, yaar, Ruhaan. We sorted things out yesterday.

Ruhaan: Really???

Taps: Yeah. We are on good terms.

Ruhaan: That's good(sigh). Then I can tell you what happened yesterday.

Taps: What happened yesterday?

Ruhaan narrated the whole terrace incident and how Mitali saved Adi's life.

Taps: Why didn't Adi tell me anything? Oh...I swear I'm gonna kill that Malhotra!

Ruhaan: Taps, calm down. Adi couldn't tell you because he thought that you would freak out. And I guess he wasn't wrong!

Tapasya smacked his arm and Ruhaan giggled.

Ruhaan: Anyways, tujhe meeting kab rakhni hai?

Taps: Um....abhi koi lecture hai kya?
