Sahil was just entering his class when he heard someone call his name from behind. He turned around and found Shayantani jogging her way towards him. He smiled at her.
Shanu: Thank God,tum yaha mil gaye! Acha suno mujhe tumse kuch zaruri baat karni hai.
Sahil: Abhi meri class hai Shayantani.
Shanu: To kya hua? Saare professors voh Inter College Meet ki preparations ki meeting ke liye gaye hai.
Sahil considered the point gravely for a moment.
Shanu: Itna kya soch rahe ho?
Sahil: Nahi kuch nahi. Thik hai chalte hai kahi.
Shanu: Um..... Dance hall chalte hai.
Sahil: Thik hai.
And they both walked ahead. On reaching the dance hall, Sahil's heart filled with nostalgia. This was the place he used to spend all his time. But after that incident, he had completely cut-off all his connections with the one thing he loved the most .

He loved it more than he loved himself. He worshiped it. Dance was the only thing that helped him find himself as well as lose himself at the same time. Whenever he used to be sad or angry at his father or someone else, he used to lock himself in a room,put on his headphones and dance to the rhythm. It was the only thing that used to calm him down.
Shanu tapped his shoulders gently and brought him back from his thoughts.
Shanu: I know how you feel.
Sahil(sigh): Yeah........
Shanu: You wanna sit down?
Sahil: Yeah,sure.
They sat right next to each other.
Sahil: So........what did you wanna talk about?
Shanu: Ummmm........I was thinking that...
Sahil: What?
Shanu: I think......you should take part in the Inter College Dance Competitions.
Sahil was taken aback by her suggestion.
Shanu: Look, I know.....that....you don't dance anymore. But...just listen to me....
Sahil(getting up): No.
Shanu looked at him and got up.
Sahil: I'm not doing that.
Shanu: Why not?
Sahil: There's a reason.
Shanu: Sahil......I'm telling you to take part in the competition because I want you to prove yourself capable. I know that if you practice with all your dedication, then you can surely win.
