Chapter 23

Ashton's Pov:

I decided to take a day off school today. Again. I didn't want to face Jade today. She was extremely angry at me when she kicked me out after, that night. I called Chelsea last night and asked if she wanted to hang out today. I know it isn't such a smart move but Jade hates me now and I need to move on, plus we weren't even dating so she shouldn't care. I sit and watch tv as I wait for Chelsea to get here. I walk into the kitchen to get a drink and I hear a knock at the door. I race out of the kitchen and answer the door. I open it and Jade is standing there. Why is she here?

"H...Hey, why are you here?" I ask her.

"I just wanted to say sorry. I was talking to Tahni last night and she suggested that I should apologise because I got really angry at you. It was mostly my fault. So yeah I'm sorry." She sadly says. Uh oh. Chelsea just rocked up. This isn't going to end well.

"Hey Ash!" She yells happily and her face drops as soon as she see's Jade.

"Wow. You really can't control yourself aye? You know what forget what I just said, you don't obviously need my apology because you already have this whore wrapped around your finger." She spits and looks back at Tahni's car. My eyes trail off and end up at Tahni's car as well, and her Dad is in there. He must of got out. "You know I was going to invite you to come shopping with my Dad, Tahni and I, because we need help on buying clothes for my father. But you obviously have plans so I am going to leave now. Have fun with your slut bag. Don't hurt her when you get into bed with her, she might leave you and think that your a DICK LIKE I FUCKING DO!" She raises her voice and storms off.

Jade's Pov:

I can't believe him. I go to give him another fucking chance and he goes and ruins it. Fucking again. I storm off after our fight. Well after I got angry at him. I jump into the front passenger seat of Tahni's care and slump back into the chair.

"Are you alright? That looked pretty intense." I feel Dads hand on my shoulder from the back seet.

"Yeah I'm fine. It is that dick that should be upset. He isn't much of a loss. Sorry for the language Dad but I swear when I'm upset, angry, frustrated, basically all the time. You will get used to it." I laugh trying to not be a debby downer.

"It is fine, your a typical 17 year old. What has happened to you and that boy?" He asks curiously.

"Well two Sundays ago Ashton said that he thinks he is falling for me, I told him that I didnt know my feelings for him yet, so I practically rejected him. Anyway last monday I ditched school because I had to get some shit. When I was at the shops I saw Ashton with that girl that you saw back there, his ex. I yelled at him and I got angry at him, he tried to make it up to me sending me flowers and good morning and goodnight texts, but it didn't work. And then don't be shocked by this. But I had this party on Saturday night. Yes I drink underage, and yes I have a lot of party's, I am the person that has the most party's on my school. Anyway I got drunk and Ashton rocked up. I couldn't stop thinking about him all week so I was 'happy' to see him. Basically me being stupid drunk I took him to my room and you know what happened. The next day I woke up with him next to me and I got angry at him for taking advantage of me and kicked him out of my house. I went to his house just then to apologise because it was sort of my fault and I was going to ask him to come with us and help us with shopping. Then his slutty ex came and I lost it." I sighed.

"Wow, you guys have a messed up relationship." He sits back in his chair.

"Yeah, I want him out of my life now. He has just fucked it all up. I just want him out. But he has this 'trap' to him, and once your in his 'trap' you can't get out." I huff. I just want out of this 'trap'

"Well, I am no love doctor. But I believe that this is one strong love hate relationship. And you should be strong about this and ignore him until he feels that he is ready and just let him explain. Everything." Dad attempts to give advice, most the times that he gave me advice it failed but this sounds good.

"Okay, I will try that. But if something gets messed up, I am blaming it on you. There will be consequences." I smirk. "Well I think while we are driving to the mall, we should discuss the rules of living with us. Yes I know you are my Dad but since you are living in OUR house you have to abide by our rules, okay?"

"Okay. So begin with these rules." He laughs.

"This ain't no laughin' matter, Father." I say in a serious tone. "Anyway, you will have to do jobs, everyone has to do jobs but since you are living with us without rent you have to do more. You have to keep your room clean enough that you can't see any clothes lying on the ground. You have to get a job, so you can chip in with paying for food. Look at me, I feel like your mother." I laugh and everyone joins me. "Is there anymore rules?" I ask Tahni.

"Yep one more, have fun. Oh and no girlfriends, you can go to a hotel if you want a girl over for the night." She laughs.

Ashton's Pov:

"So Ashton what are we doing today?" Chelsea walks up my driveway watching Tahni drive away.

"I'm sorry Chels, but I think, I need to stop doing this. I know I invited you over, but I think I am going to end this right now." I wave my hands in between Chelsea and I.

"Okay. I can see that you really like her. To be honest I saw it as soon as you ran after her on the shops. Don't worry I totally understand." This is strange she usually whines and tries to change my mind but nope.

"Really? Are you fine with it?" I ask her.

"Yes, Ash, I am totally fine with it trust me. You guys look like you have a strong relationship."

"Well I just wanted to tell you that we can't really be friends anymore, because it won't really work. Are you alright with that?" I ask her for the second time.

"Yes, I swear Ashton. Plus I have been seeing this guy anyway and I think it is best for us to stay away from each other." She smiles.

"Okay, well I guess this is it." I smile to her and give her a hug.

"Bye Ashton."

"Bye Chelsea." We give each other one last hug and I wave good bye to her and watch her drive off.
