Chapter 11

Jade's Pov:

We are sitting her on top of this abandoned building that looks like it has been smashed at the top so we can see the night sky.

"This is beautiful, where did you find this?" I ask Ashton, turning on my side to face him, resting my head on my hand.

"I walk around a lot, randomly. You could say I'm adventurous." He laughs.

"Ha.ha, you adventurous." I laugh along with is 'joke'

"Yeah. I like to go around Australia by myself usually and just find beautiful places like this." He is so different to me, I would be the type of girl, in my room watching my favourite youtubers.

"We are so different, but so alike at the same time." I roll back onto my back and take in this view.

"What time is it?" I ask Ashton because my phone is dead.

"1:00 in the morning." He pulls out his and reads the time, "we should get going." I nod in agreement and we make our way down stairs.

"I had a lot of fun tonight, besides seeing Holly kiss you it was wonderful." I cringe at her name.

"I'm glad you had fun." Ashton smiles hopping into his car.

"Do you just want me to drop you home now?" He questions me and I nod again.

"Okay." We drive back to my house in silence. I keep my eyes out the window watching everything that passes, taking all of the beautiful sights in. 20 minutes later we stop at the front of my house.

"I'm going to walk you up." Ashton tells me. We get out of the car and he comes around to the passenger side and he intertwines his fingers with mine. I don't pull away. A wave of relief washes through my body as the warmth of his hand is touching mine."I had so much fun tonight, we should do this again, next time without her." He doesn't say her name and I smile at him.

"Yeah." I say happily. We stand outside my house on front of my front door. Ashton's hands travel up my arms and to my cheeks. He cups my face in his large hands and kisses my forehead."Thank you, for everything." I pull a way and watch him as he walks back to his car. We wave our goodbyes and I watch him drive away. I put the key to my house into the door, walk inside and shut the door behind me. I slide down the door and sit on the floor for5 minutes.

I walk into my bedroom, to find a letter on my bed. It reads to Jade on the front.

Letter:

Jade, I just wanted to write this letter to you because I am really sorry. I didn't mean to kiss him. I don't know what got into me, I guess the alcohol was taking over my body. I'm so sorry, I know I came to clear my head, an it did make my head clear. I forgave Luke and we are still together. I hope you could forgive me, it wasn't me who kissed Ashton. Well it was my body but my brain was intoxicated. You know I wouldn't do that to you on purpose. Please forgive me I am so so sorry and I don't blame you for leaving me there, i deserved it. Please can we be best friends again.

I feel tears gushing down my face. I feel so bad for getting angry at her. I thought she was doing it to make me feel upset like her but she couldn't control herself. I plug in my phone and let it charge, I need to text her.

I walk into my kitchen and make my self a coffee. I know I need to go to sleep but I will later. I hear my phone ring, and I sprint down the hallway to check it. I look at the screen. It is Holly.

*Im sorry. Text me when you get this xx* I slide across the touch screen and type in my password. Dial her number.
