The next morning, I woke up with a migraine. What a perfect way to start out the day. I sighed and slid out of bed, putting on my clothes. I stared at myself in the mirror. Why would Chris even cry over this? I'm hideous. I didn't even bother put on any make up, I combed my hair, and slid on my Pierce The Veil jacket, and headed to the bathroom to brush my teeth. After doing so, I flipped my hood over my hood, and walked towards the front room, there was Chris. He was sitting on the couch watching Dexter. I wanted to say something to him, but the words were too shy to come out, so I sighed and walked towards the door, stopping as Chris spoke.

"We need to talk..." he calmy said.

"No, we don't. You already said what you wanted to say...that's it..."

At that I left. I walked to the deck that we used to go to all the time and sat on the same bench, thinking about all of the good times we had together, and how I messed up a good relationship. Tears formed in my eyes. I burried my face into my hands.

"I'm such a fuck up..." I whispered to myself.

"What's wrong, hun?" A sweet, yet sexy voice spoke out. I looked beside me and sat next to me was the beautiful Maria Brink. She slid off her shades and took out two cigarettes, handing me one. I hesitantly took it. She lit them up and we both puffed.

"-sigh- I....I messed up things with my boyfriend..." I spoke up.

She nods.

"Chris?" She asks raising an eyebrow.

"How'd you know?"

"Well, we are good friends," she giggles. "And he talks about you a lot, I'm Maria by the way, lead singer of In This Moment,"

We shook hands.

"I know who you are, I'm a big fan.." I blushed a little. She awed. Soon after that, she asked me to tell her what happened, so I told her everything.

"I'm sure he didn't mean any of that, babe, he was just angry, he has a terrible temper,"

I nodded. We talked some more about other things, then she offered to take me home, I agreed since it was getting dark.

"If you'd like to have a good time, and keep your mind off things, I'm the girl to call," she says as she parks in the driveway. I nodded, she writes her number on a piece of paper, and hands it to me. I pause.before getting out, thinking for a minute.

"We could have...a girl's night out..." I suggested. She smiled and nodded excitedly. We hugged each other as if we were best friends and I got out the car. As soon as I made into the living room, Chris keeps begging me to talk to him but ignored him, going to my room, slamming the door in his face. He mumbled something but I ignored it and raided my closet for something cute to wear tonight.
