This chapter is told from the view of Traitor
"School Nerd" started a conversation with You and Ingrid
School Nerd: Guys, we have to do something about the others.
Ingrid: I agree! They've been friends for too long to fall apart over something like this!
Traitor: Why am I in this chat?
School Nerd: Because I heard Avery kicked you out of their chat, so I wanted to make you feel better about having no friends.
Traitor: Wow, thanks
Traitor: If we try to reason with them they'll think that we're taking the other group's side
School Nerd: We need to talk to the least confrontational members of each group
Ingrid: I think we should talk to Chloe and Avery
Traitor: Chloe's middle name is literally "Stubborn"
Traitor: When she has an opinion about something, she won't be swayed. She's also incredibly defensive.
School Nerd: He's not wrong
School Nerd: But I think Avery's a good choice to talk to
Ingrid: Who should we talk to from the other group?
Traitor: Unsurprisingly, our three most opinionated friends banded together
School Nerd: Miranda didn't participate in the rough parts of the argument all that much, so she's probably our best bet
School Nerd: Also, Avery and Miranda didn't argue directly, so they'll probably be the most willing to talk to each other
Ingrid: We need to name the group chat!!!!
"Ingrid" named the conversation "Switzerland"
Traitor: No
Traitor: Absolutely not
School Nerd: That's adorable! Did you pick it because Switzerland was neutral in World War Two?
Traitor: Pick a different neutral country
School Nerd: What do you have against Switzerland?
Traitor: It's a fucking Twilight reference
"School Nerd" renamed the conversation "Sweden"

Teen FictionThis story is based off of actual conversations my friends and I have in our group chat. It all started with a simple crush. Maybe this all would have been avoided if said crush wasn't sitting at the same table as me and all the friends I wanted to...
