I took off my jacket and cleared my throat.

Because all of my ex-girlfriend want fame or money so I just figured if I were to catfish then I would see who want me for me. I said looking at her bowl

That makes sense. She said nodding and biting a carrot stick

She held her fork out to me and moved closer. I took it and dipped it in her bowl and ate some pasta.

You got something right there. She said as she moved in and wiped my mouth with her finger then licked her finger

I sat there suspended in her beauty taking in what felt like home and warmth which I only felt from one other women ever, my mother.

Hey you okay? She asked

Yea just fine. I said relaxing

It was silent for a few seconds.

So how about a first date? I asked turning my head towards her

I would like that. But please nothing fancy I'm just simple Jayla not Rihanna. She said getting up

Okay fine. Where would you like to go? I asked following her to the kitchen

I don't know you tell me. She said

Okay I'll surprise you and pick you up tomorrow at 2. Okay? I said

Yea. Chris? She said nervously

Yea. I said

Can my son come? She asked

I looked at her and studied her face. She was worried.

Of course. I said and I pulled her into a hug

I felt her smile against my shirt and hugged her tighter then let her go.

I'll see you tomorrow okay?

She nodded and walked me out.

Baby please let mommy wash you up. I begged Joshua as he grabbed for the towel wanting to get out

I sat him back down and began to wash him up sitting him back down every couple seconds. I finally got him out and laid him on the bed I put baby lotion on him and I squeezed his leg a few times causing him to laugh. I put on his diaper and and socks and stood him up and put on his pants.

Arms up baby. I said and his arms rose

I slipped his shirt over his head and took his hair out of the ponytail. I began to brush I up when I heard the door bell. I finished Js ponytail and set him down. He walked to the door and I opened it.

Hey Chris. I said hugging him

Hi Jayla. He said hugging me

He gasp. Who is this little guy? He said picking Joshua up

He tickles his stomach and Joshua laughed and smiled at Chris. I slipped away and let them mingle while I took a shower and got dressed. I wore pants and a white long sleeve with my dark brown uggs. I sprayed perfume on myself and grabbed Joshua a jacket. I walked into the living room and they were playing with the toys. I took a picture and cleared my throat.

I put Joshua's jacket on him and I walked out side and grabbed his car seat out.

I got that. Chris said taking it from me

I grabbed Joshua and my jacket then locked the house grabbing his diaper bag. I placed him in his car seat and handed him his cup. I admired his style on the interior. He turned up the radio and Joshua began to attempt singing. I giggled.

We pulled up at Skyzone and got out and got Joshua out the car the grabbed his diaper bag. I walked in and filled out a waiver for Joshua.

What size? The lady behind the counter asked

Umm can I just buy the smallest socks available?

Sure. 6 dollars.

I dug in my pocket and handed her six dollars. She gave me the socks and I sat Joshua on the glass and took off his socks and shoes. I slipped on the sky zone socks and bought my own pair. Chris walked in and ladies eyes lit up.

What sir size? She asked confusing her words

He laughed and laughed he looked over at me and asked for the size 13 socks. We sat down and changed our socks and shoes to the sky zone socks. Joshua ran head and crawled up the stair to foam pit. He fell face forward and began laughing. I put our stuff in a locker. I walked back up and Chris had Joshua and they were jumping in the pit. I admired the way he was with Joshua then I ran and did a flip into the ball pit.

Hey Chris why no one here but us?

I rented it out. He said putting Joshua up

I nodded and got out and grabbed Joshua and went into free jump and Chris followed.

Today was fun. Thank you. I said biting my pizza

No problem. I actually like simple days and events. It's like a vacation from my fast life. He said

I nodded and fed Joshua a pizza piece.

Your welcome. Joshua reached for Chris and Chris grabbed him. Joshua hugged him and gave a smile before reaching back to me.

He likes you. That's a good sign. I said looking up at him

I hope so. He said before walking off
