He looked over at me with a confused expression. I looked away awkwardly, I'm sure he knew why. This crush he had was one sided. I didn't want him. I didn't want anyone at that.
"Is this weird?" He asked waving his hand between us
I tried to hide my facial expression but he'd already saw.
"I'm just showing you the fun of interacting with people. I'm not coming on to you, I have a girlfriend... and she'll be home anytime now so yes I think it best that you go."
I was a bit took back by his tone. It's almost like he was offended. Maybe I was thinking the worse. My anxiety began closing in and I could feel the lump in my throat growing.
"I'm sor-"
"No. I'll drop you off and try to keep things professional although that obviously hasn't helped you."
"Maybe I had the wrong idea but that is no reason to be rude. I can't help how I am Mr. Know It All Therapist Or may I say ex-therapist. You're fired. And I'll walk home."
I didn't stick around to see how he took what I said. I somewhat strolled out of his house and speed walked down the driveway once I was out of his sight hoping he wouldn't after me. I continued to walk until I felt far away from him. I heard him faintly yell my name maybe twice but, I wasn't going back.
It took me a half hour to get home. When I finally made it, the driveway was clear and so was my mind. He just wasn't the therapist that could crack my code. I usually got over the loss of a therapist within one night and tonight wouldn't be any different.
Once in the house I cut up an apple and brought it upstairs. I ate the apple slices while running myself a bath. I dropped scented oils and a shimmering glow bath bomb in. Tonight I was going to relax.

"Sky, there is someone here to see you?"
"Is it Mr. Powers?"
"Honey just hurry out."
I sighed in annoyance. He just doesn't know when to quit. It's beginning to be bothersome. I stepped out from my bath and took my sweet time moisturizing my body. I threw on an oversized tee and fuzzy pajama shorts.
Once I finally opened my door I had the worst expression on my face. I somewhat stomped down stairs making my presence known.
"Good. Now that you're here honey Mr. Powers said that you fired him?"
They were all sitting at the dining room table. I shifted my weight on my right leg and crossed my arms. My temperature was now rising.
"You told my parents? You're so lame. How old are you?"
I was struggling not to raise my voice. I kept my tone under control but you could tell I had an attitude.
"Your mom is the one that set the sessions up."
"And I'm the one that canceled them. I don't see your point."
"Sky be more respectful. He is only trying to help."
My father spoke in a soft yet warning tone.
I stared at Keith for a slight moment before speaking.
"I'm not being disrespectful. I'm trying to not be bothered. It's my say so."
"Is it young lady? I beg to differ, now apologize."
I turned to Keith before speaking again.
"I'm sorry that you're fired."
"Upstairs right now young lady you're grounded." My father pointed upstairs to my room
"Thanks a lot Mr. "Therapist" you're a big help." I said sarcastically
"Not another word."
I retreated to my room and slammed the door. I can't believe he came here and got me in trouble.
