chapter 10

A week later

Dani walked into the airport and saw Rose. She whistled loudly and called her over, Rose ran and jumped into her arms.
"I missed you!"
"I missed you too and much more!"
Dani kissed her and took her bags.
"I'll take those baby."
Rose smiled and chuckled. Dani was still the same girl. She was still kind and in love with her. Rose followed Dani to the car and Dani put her bags into the trunk. In an hour they were back home. The ride consisted of them laughing and talking about the trip. Once they got home Dani got dressed into normal clothes and picked up her keys.
"I.. I planned a party 2 days ago. Its at your best friend's house. She wanted to celebrate your return. She also missed you. But not as much as I did."
Rose giggled and blushed. She hasn't changed in a week. She still blushed like always.
"Ok then let's go baby."
Dani headed for the door, but before she could open it she turned around and hugged Rose for a long time then kissed her. Rose couldn't help but blushed harder.
"I love you Dani."
"I love you too Rose Reed."
They got in the car and drove to Rose's best friend's house. Dani took a hold of Rose's hand while she was driving and kept her left hand on the steering wheel. They arrived at her house and it wasnt full since they didn't want the cops walking in. They walked in hand and hand and Dani couldn't help but look at Rose's stomach. She was carrying her baby, it was nothing but a bump but Dani couldn't help but get emotional. Stephanie welcomed her with a big hug and they sat down on the table. They laughed and talked then Rose stood up.
"I have a surprise for you guys. An announcement. A special one. You guys ready?"
Their voices overlapped as they all shouted "yeah let's go!" And rose continued
"Me and Dani-",
She reached for Danielle's hand and they made eye contact. Their eyes focusing on each other and they memorized even the smallest details of each others eyes. Rose's being blue-ish green. Dani's being a beautiful gray and with a slight hint of blue, that changed with the seasons. Rose continued and smiled.
"we're having a baby!" Everyone stood up and shouted "congratulations!" Dani stayed sitting down and stared at Rose. God dammit Rose. I love you so much. Rose leaned down and kissed Dani.
"I love you, Danielle Brown."
"I love you as well, Rose Reed."
Life was good as they knew it. After an hour everyone was drunk and happy. Rose and Dani were happy. Rose yawned and couldn't help but lay her head on Dani's lap.
"Babe. I'm tired. Stephanie is gonna drop me off ok?"
Dani stroked her hair softly and smiled as she looked down at her love.
"Ok baby. Tell her to drive safely. I'll meet you there in a bit. And before you go. I love you."
"I love you too baby."
Rose got in Stephanie's car as they got in drunkenly. They laughed and giggled and Stephanie started the car. They drove and swerved, and that was the last anyone saw of them.
