The boys came here early in the morning and were still sleeping up in my room while I was in downstairs with Papa. "I'll be back, I'm gonna go upstairs" I told Papa.

I got up and went to the bathroom to wash up and went to my room to see Luke and Calum still sleeping and Ashton was looking around the room at the pictures on the walls and dresser. "Hey..."

Ashton looked at me with sad eyes, then he came over to me giving me a hug "I'm so sorry..."

I hugged him tight burying my face him his chest crying softly. Ashton hugged me tight rubbing my back and holding me close "I don't want to loose him..." I mumbled.

"I know you don't want to, I don't either" Ashton said and kissed the side of my head. I sighed and Ashton pulled away wiping my tears "Look at me, you're not alone. Everyone that cares about you is in this house right now."

I nodded slowly and sighed "Thanks Ashton..."

Ashton gave me a soft smile "Let's go eat while these lazy dumbos sleep."

"What are we eating?" Luke mumbled stretching and rolled over snoring softly. I chuckled and we walked out the door closing the door behind us.

We went downstairs and Ashton said hi to Papa having a small conversation about their flight here and nature for some reason. While they talked I helped Nonna make plates for the boys filled with a traditional breakfast.

Nonna gave me a smile "Go get Luke and Calum for breakfast." I nodded and brought a plate to Papa and opened a table for Ashton so they could keep talking.

I went upstairs back into my room and woke up like first "Hey, go eat. Ashton is eating already" I shook his arm and patting his head "Luke get up" I said.

He sighed "Okay, I'm up." Luke sat up and sighed "Hey..."

I awkwardly shrugged and smiled "Ashton already made me cry..." Luke stood up and kissed my cheek giving me a soft hug, then walked out.

I looked at Calum and he just laid on his stomach and using his arms as a pillow. I sat side him and shook his arm "Calum, get up we're having breakfast now." He just groaned and turned his head the other way. "Get up" I shook his arm again and Calum lift his head up and looked at me with sleepy eyes.

Calum stared at me and laid on his side "Come here" he opened his arms up to me.

I let out a deep breath "We need to go have breakfast." He sat up and pulled me over so I stood between his legs and put my hands behind his neck.

Calum pulled me close and hugged me as I ran my hand through his hair "I'm always going to be here for you no matter what's happening." I nodded and kissed his head and he stood up "I love you..."

"I love you too, babe" Calum kissed me and gave me a hug. I held him tight and it just feels like the boys are just going to be ripped away from me at any moment. "Come on, we have to go eat now."

Calum pulled away and we went downstairs to go eat. He said hi to Papa and eat him food with him, while I was at the table eating with Nonna. "You okay, Hun?" Nonna asked me concerned. I didn't say anything and just slowly ate my food, "It's going to hurt a lot, but you'll get through it."

I just nodded slowly "I'm just so exhausted... I just want to catch a break for an while." I looked at Nonna and she had tears rolling down her cheeks.

Nonna sighed and grabbed my hand, but I pulled my hand away "Giovanna."

"Can we talk about anything else? All we talk about is Papa dying" I blankly said. It got quiet in the house and everyone was looking at me "Excuse me, I need to get some air" I got up and went to the front yard sitting on the porch.

I could feel my heart racing like crazy, I tried to slow down my breathing by taking deep breaths and soon it was just me crying. "Giovanna, you don't talk like that" Nonnio said to me and a very strong voice. I stared at the grass and picked at it. "Giovanna Valentina Gianniotti."

I sat up and looked at him "I'm sorry, I'm so tired of talking about it for the past week. I wasn't even there to have a say what was going to happen to Papa! You guys decided to talk him home without asking what I wanted."

Nonnio groaned "Child, Papa isn't getting any better. His chemo isn't working and he's getting weaker, your Papa decided to come home because he's tired and wants to be home."

I clenched my jaw "And what about me?"

Nonnio stared at me and didn't say anything for a second "There's nothing you could have done, it's his decision Giovanna."

"Why is it I'm finding out my Papa is dying when I got home? Just less than a week ago you told me he was getting weaker, but he's staying in the hospital" I said.

Nonnio sighed "You were on tour, we didn't want to worry you. You had three shows left."

"I should be there, that's my Papa."

Calum

When Gia walked out, we all just sat there not saying anything. Nonnio walked back in, but Gia stayed outside "Where's my child?" Papa asked Nonnio. I know it's weird that we call them Nonna, Nonnio, and Papa but they told us to call them that because we're family now.

"She's outside and mad" Nonnio said going back to his chair eating.

Papa tapped my arm "Can you go get her, son?"

I nodded and got up going outside "Hey..."

"They sent you out here to talk to me?" She mumbled.

I sat next to her on the steps looking around at the landscape here. Open land with nice green grass, a little pond with some type of birds in it, and classic bird baths. "Not really, your dad wants to talk to you... What's wrong? Why are you so mad?"

Gia looked at me and her eyes were red and puffy "I just, what if I could have changed his mind and this wouldn't be happening? If I was home and talked some sense into Papa, maybe he wouldn't be dying..." we just looked at each other. "I know it's not my fault and has nothing to do with me, but I just I know I could have done something..."

I put my hand in her thigh "Babe, that's all the what if's... your home now with your dad. You can't walk around pissed of that reality is happening, spend time with him and make the best of it."

Gia looked at me and place her head on my shoulder "Why does it have to be me?" She mumbled and I wrapped my arm around her, then kissed her head.

"I wish I knew..."

Gia sighed and pulled away from me, we just looked at each other. She gave me a kiss and rested our foreheads against each other "Thank you for coming..."

I gave her a smile and pulled away "I told you, I'm going to be here for you no matter what. I'll be here, so will Luke and Ash. We'll always be here, we're never gonna go anywhere."
