Kali had grabbed her blue notebook and stray pieces of paper and hid in the attic to translate. Though the screaming continued, she tried to ignore it hoping her mind working would silence it.

She had gone to the attic for peace and quiet but five minutes later, Diego and Klaus stumbled in with a chair and blue rope. Kali watched as Klaus nodded to her and sat on the chair while Diego began to wrap the rope,

"I'm trying to get sober," Klaus explained to Kali, who had her eyebrows arched and her paper all other the floor in the corner. She nodded before getting back to work,

"What are you working on?" Deigo asked, peering over every time he passed,

Kali sighed, knowing she wouldn't be able to not answer, "I found this notebook with my name on in Dad's office so I began translating,"

"Cool, sis," Diego muttered half-heartedly and Kali went back to work. "I hate this room,"

"Oh," Klaus called, "It got me high enough," He laughed lightly, "I picked it clean of anything of value after Daddy kicked the bucket. That's it, tighter and higher," Diego sighed before compelling harshly, "Ooh. Ouf. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,"

"If I see a boner, I'm out," Diego snapped back and Kali rolled her eyes before continuing to scribble notes down,

"My sisters here, that would be weird," Klaus groaned as Diego continued to walk around the chair,

"End of the world and you wanna get sober all of a sudden," Deigo spoke, though his tone sounded more like a question, "Don't get me wrong, man. Good by you. But I'd think you'd wanna pop every pill on the planet,"

"Oh," Klaus sighed longly, "the thought did cross my mind, believe me, but... there's something I need to do, and the whole pesky thing doesn't seem to work unless I'm sober,"
