Kali didn't look at Five until they were both in his room and sitting in uncomfortable silence. Five was looking through his wardrobe while Kali sat by the desk debating whether to ask him the burning question,

"What happened?" They both asked at the same time, turning to each other. When they both spoke at the same time, they looked away from each other.

"You go first," Kali ordered, crossing her arms and resting her feet on the desk. Five nodded before next to his bed, resting his back on it. Sighing, Kali took a spot next to him, leaning her head on his shoulder without thinking,

"When I jumped into the future, everything was gone. The house, our family, the whole world was burning. When I got to where our home was, I found you all - dead. You were trying to fight whatever caused the apocalypse," Five recalled and Kali lifted her head to look at Five properly as he pulled something from his pocket, it was wrapped in a cloth. He unwrapped it to reveal a glass eye, "I found this in Luther's hand, he must have ripped it out from the person that ended the world. I spent years alone until someone found me - the Handler..." Five stopped as though he didn't want to say anything else, worried about who Kali would see him,

"What?" Kali asked, grabbing his hand causing electricity to shoot through the two but Kali didn't move her hand, "You know you can tell me anything, right?"

"I worked for a company called the Commission for years, I was an assassin, I suppose that what you'd call it if someone was going to interfere with the timeline I'd come in and... fix the problem," Five explained, looking at their intertwined hands, "You now, why are you still 15?"

Kali sighed before shifting her body to face Five, he did the same, "One day, I had a job to do. I had to use my powers but I underestimated my abilities. I don't know if dad told you but my fire comes from the lowest layer of hell, the souls I hear constantly being tortured are from the lowest layer of hell, so I ended up opening a portal there and... fell in," Five squeezed her hands as he saw tears form in Kali's eyes,
