Flashback .. Fast Forward

Though I'd None On My Person

flashback .. being free 

left me a pondering loner

no more of my cool friends

or closed lip customers

kin .. at a distance

I knew to run

yet i'd to see it through

where all the cards fell

if anyone would receive time

God dammit I cared for my crew

my nosy neighbor cop

confidently approached me

related he knew everything

went so far as to demand

that i'm the mastermind

informed me the chase is on

they're going to be hard after me

someone will certainly talk

he made all sorts of demands

I smirked .. catch me if you can

my little brother .. Winnie Rodriguez

stopped by to relate

the very same cop

promised to pay him cash

if he'd just turn on me

I found myself a bit concerned

but not for very long

my brother .. my blood

assured me he'd go down

refusing payment .. not saying a word

my truck brokedown at work

stuck my thumb out .. hitched a ride

while I was being dropped out

at the local brick building pool hall

the same cop crawled on the street

he jumped up .. from behind parked cars

snatched my arm through my open window

stated loudly .. im under arrest

for simple possession of marijuana

though i'd none on my person
