its been two months since I was taken by the raiders, and things are different now.
Clem lost the lower part of her left leg after getting bitten by a walker, so AJ severed it. I lost my tongue after I was talking too much while kidnapped. it still haunts me to this day, but nothing was more comforting than when I saw her come into the cell, embracing me. I remember crying into her shoulder, terrified and just wanting to be in own bed. ruby knew sign language, so is teaching all of us so I could communicate with everyone. I could sight quite well, and my favourite word to sign, is love. I just make a simple heart with my hands, and I love it. everything is better now, though. the raiders are gone, and there was only one casualty. Tenn. AJ shot him the day we all escaped from the delta. he was freaking out about Minnie being eaten by walkers, so I know that it was either both of us die, or just him. i was mad before, but Clem told me how it was. he saved my life. how could I be mad at anyone for doing that? we are all currently sat on the tables, eating, laughing and being just plain happy. I pull out a little folded piece of paper and slip it next to my lover, resting my chin on my knuckled. I smirk as she opens it 'you look really sexy today' it read, a little heart next to the messy handwriting. she smiled and gasps as she looks up at me. "louis!" she says, still grinning. I nudge her with my elbow and place my arm over her shoulders "what's it say?" came AJs voice, laced with curiosity. my eyes widened. he cant read that! before I could react though, Clem pulls the paper away from his reaching hands. "never you mind, kiddo. you wouldn't know what it meant anyway." she grins at me. I slide up next to hey, and press my lips against her cheeks. its surprisingly harder to kiss when you have no tongue, but I'm managing. I let my lips linger on her sweet skin, before pulling away with a shy smile. it still to this day makes me nervous, kissing her even on the cheek, to this day. she glances up at me, resting her head on my shoulder. I quickly sign to her. "I love you." and we both blush a solid rose. that was our first I love you. my mind suddenly started to panic as she looked down, not replying. I sign to her again. "I'm sorry." and she looks up at me. she smiles before signing. "I love you too louis."
we had made up our own signs for our individual names, which made things easier. I blushed again, before bowing my head and pressing my lips to hers, her warm honey taste filling my senses. her touch felt like the flame of a campfire in the dead of winter, she smelled like vanilla and apple, she tasted like sweet honey. "that's enough you two. some of us are trying to eat" comes violets voice, along with a few other comments on our lack of restraint. I simply raise my hand and flip them off, still moving my lips against Clems. a few "oohs" and "get it louis" circled around the group, but I ignored them. Clem giggled against my lips.
every things ok. its all ok.
WHEW that one was fun to write. im always so exited to write here. il have another chapter out tomorrow. im gonna see how long i can keep this streak up for.
