"louis! be careful!" clem yelled, sighing in fond exasperation at her clumsy boyfriend. he had managed to his his hand with a hammer for the 14th time that day.
after the events of the bridge, and her being bitten, he had opted to do all the hard work, while she did whatever down below. she refused to do nothing though, so instead started working on a pulled to act as a lift for their creation. she was fiddling with the rope, attempting to tie it correctly, but struggling due to the crutches that held her up. louis hopped down from the platform, gently taking it from her hands "I am capable, you know" she teased, rolling her eyes. "I know, but your struggling." he shot back as he easily slipped the knot into place, clem rolling her eyes for a second time. "so are you, I mean, look at you hand" his hand was raw and bruised and swollen from hitting it with the hammer so many times, to the point where clem was sure it was broken."im fine clem." she giggled and looked up at his, attempting to reach up to kiss him, yet not being able to. he laughed before ducking down, dropping the pulley to the floor. he pressed her lips to hers. he placed his hands on her waist to support her as she dropped her crutches to the floor and wrapping her arms around his neck and shoulders. he filled her senses as she took him in. his taste, something distinctly citrusy, his smell, musky and strong, his soft skin, the gently sound of his breaths, the feel of his heart pounding against her breasts.
eventually, he pulled away, still supporting her weight as he picked up her crutches off the floor. the grunted as he handed them to her. "whats wrong...?" he said, inwardly panicking at her clear discomfort. "just getting a little tired." he gently guided her over to a nearby bench and sat her down. "should I get ruby?" he questioned, wondering if there was something more serious. "don't be silly. I just need a small break." he sat down next to her as she rested her head on his broad shoulder.
"I love you. you know that, right?" she looked up at him. he continued to stare ahead, although she saw the heat rise in his cheeks. "I love you more." he finally gazed down, cupping her cheek with his hand, caressing her temple. "never" she grinned. he gently pressed his lips to the top of her head, before standing up, kneeling in front of her. "seriously though, you tell me if your hurting, ok? I do worry about you." she smiled before closing her eyes, nodding gently, before groaning again. he shook his head. "im gonna carry you inside. you need to rest. we can continue this tomorrow." he slid his hands below her knees, and at the back of her neck, before lifting her into a princess carry. she help the crutches as he carried her through the courtyard, earning a series of "aaaw"s and a few worried glances. Aj and tenn didn't notice the couple as they were so intent on drawing, much to clementines relief. she didn't wasn't Aj worrying about her. she started to doze of in his arms, the gently bounce of his walk along with his warmth and scent, drifted her off into sleep.
he looked down, and noticed his gorgeous girlfriend had fallen asleep, just as he had reach their shared dorm room. louis had previously had his own room, with a king sized bed to himself, and clem moved in not too long after they started dating. as far as he was aware, tenn had moved into Ajs room to keep him company. he placed her on the bed, covering her with the duvet. she snuggled into it, borrowing her head into the pillow. he chuckled before planting a kiss on her head. god how much he loved her. louis tip-toed over to the dresser, careful to make as little noise as possible, picking up a framed photo of him and the gang. this photo was taken the day before marlon and brody died, so even clem and Aj were in it. he examined the happy clementine, who stood between him and Aj, before noticing that she was looking up at him as he smiled into the camera.
he wasn't thinkin about anything, only her, and what the days to follow would bring.
hey. I have no idea what to say, so im just gonna leave it here.
