louis and clementine never got very much alone time, since they ran the school together, so they cherished every second they got.
right now, they were laid together in louis' dorm room, cuddling on his bed. not a word had been spoken in about two hours. clems eyes were closed as sleep succumbed to her about an hour prior, however louis was more awake than ever, his mind whirring as he watched his girlfriend breathe steadily.
louis P.O.V
how did i get so lucky? what god decided to bless me with a being such as her? her and Aj are my family, nobody understands me like they do. she was there for me when i had nightmare about that raider i killed, she was there for me during all the sleepless nights after marlons death. she never fails to bring a smile to my face even on the darkest days when the world feels like its falling down around me.
i stroked my hand against her soft cheek, her warm skin almost soothing me. i would have this any other way, i love her so much. her head placed placidly on my chest, her small arm wrapped around my waist. one of her legs crossed over mine while my arm ran down her leg, my hand splayed out at her mid thigh. its moments like these when my mind feels serene, yet overflowing at the same time. these are the moments i could never let go no matter what happened.
her eyes begain to flutter, alerting me that she was on the cusp of waking up. i smiled as her amber eyes eventually opened. "hey beautiful" i whispered, cupping her face gently. she smiled gently, her eyes still half-closed. "hey." she whispered back, dreamily making eye contact with me, causing my heart to skip a beat. she never failed to make my breath get caught in my throat. "can you sing to me?" she whispered, still in her half asleep state.
