Ayos naman yung paglilibot ko sa warehouse kanina. I finished early kasi dahil dun sa dalawang gunggong na yun. Sila lang naman pala yung may delay. I did double-check, wala na namang problema. So, I hurriedly went back to the hotel already. Pagod na paa ko kakalakad.

"Maika, let me rest muna before natin libutin yung hotel." I said to my assistant.

"Sige po Mam, tawagin nalang kita mamayang 3? I looked at my wristwatch and it's already 1:30 in the afternoon.

"Sige. And kindly bring me a glass of water please. Yung hindi malamig. Thank you." Maika nodded at lumabas na ng opisina.

Napahawak ako sa aking sentido at marahan itong minasahe. Gosh, it's getting terrible. I'm sure dahil to sa pagpapasok-labas sa malamig na office plus super init pa outside. After few minutes, dumating na si Maika na may hawak-hawak na phone da tenga, seems like may tawag ata. Jowa niya siguro. Char. She just put the glass of water on the table in front of me and I just mouthed her 'thank you'.

Kumuha ako ng gamot galing sa medicine kit ko at tsaka ininom ito. I am always cautious when it comes to medicines, ayoko pa magkasakit sa bato. Not now, not ever. I do scan them one by one if it's safe to take, no side effects, etc.

I can't force myself to play some games on my phone kasi sa radiation, baka lumala pa sakit ng ulo ko. Imbes na maglaro, kinuha ko yung unan ko sa ibabaw ng cabinet and took a nap.

"MAAM REGINA, gising na po."

I opened my eyes and saw the sight of Maika. Yawning, I stood up at kinusot-kusot ang mata ko.

"Okay ka na po ba?"

Finally, my headache is gone. I am feeling better so I said, "Yes, thank you."

"Pwede na ba tayong magpatuloy Mam?"

"Yes. Just go wait for me at the elevator. Mag-aayos lang ako." She smiled and nodded. While I was fixing my hair, my phone rang. Dali-dali kong inayos ang buhok ko and without looking, I picked it up at nilagay sa speaker mode.

"Hello?"

"Hi." Wait.

"Who's this?"

"Nako, nakalimutan na ako. Sabi ko sayo wag mo akong kalimutan e." Then he tsk-ed. Sabi ko na nga ba e!

"Pero pano mo nakuha tong number ko?" I asked.

"I have connections Reg."

"Nakakatakot yang connections mo ha." I joked and he chuckled. Kinuha ko yung phone ko, putting it in hands mode at lumabas na ng opisina.

"I'm sorry. Are you busy? Naistorbo ba kita?" He said. Narinig niya siguro yung mga kaluskos kanina.

"Sort of, magiikot pa ako sa hotel e. But I can manage." I reached the elevator and mouthed "let's go" to Maika. "Dumating ka na ba sa Maynila?"

"Yup, nasa office na."

"Buti naman. I have to go Ogs, take care."

"Sure. Call you later. Bye." Then he ended the call.

"Madam, sino yun?" Pinadiliman ko siya ng mata. Maika, I know you too well! "Si Mam o, yieee." Humagalpak ito ng tawa. Sabi sa inyo diba. Jusme!

In return, sinapak ko siya. "Aray madam! Masakit yun a!"
