"Gabby..." Para akong batang kinuhaan ng laruan kakaiyak. Gabby was in the middle of driving when he stopped because of my woes.
"Regine, why? Anong nangyari sa loob?" He hushed me down.
"I...I saw the both of them..." I said in the middle of crying. "N-nasasaktan ako...." I bursted into tears.
"You will be fine Reg." Hinagod niya ang likod ko. "I'm sure he was forced to do so. Stop crying already, kinakabahan ako sayo e." He retorted.
"A-alam mo yung feeling na okay na e. Bakit may susulpot pang ganito? Bakit may kailangan pang magbalik? Bakit kailangan pa kaming guluhin? Bakit kailangan pa namin masaktan? B-bakit..."
"Kasi kapag nagmahal ka, may kaakibat na sakit yun. Love isn't an easy road to take. It is a fully assessed risk and a decision to make." Nanatili akong tahimik. Tama, hindi naman lahat ng pagkakataon masaya kayo palagi.
"Pero sobrang sakit Gabby. H-hindi ko ata kaya..." I said, tears running down from my eyes.
"Sobrang sakit? Kasi mahal na mahal mo si Ogie." Bullseye.
"Punta tayong Grazia's." I said. Hindi ko na kayang bumalik sa party, gusto ko nalang umattend sa gig ko ngayon.
"Hays." He sighed. "Okay." At nagsimula na siyang magdrive.
Tahimik lang kami sa loob. He was kind enough to be quiet dahil alam niya kung pano dumistansya. My mind was so blank at the moment, flashbacks from what I saw from Oracle was playing on my mind. Kaya naman, my tears fell again on its own. Putangina. Please stop falling already. Nagsisimula nang mapagod ang mga mata ko.
"We're here Reg." I unbuckled my seatbelt at bumaba na ng sasakyan. "Want me to go with you?" He said. Tumango naman ako.
"Alam mo na naman yung sikreto ko diba?" I asked. Siguro alam na naman niya, maybe Ogie spoke to him about that.
"Ha? Anong sikreto? Tungkol sayo? Wala naman siyang nababanggit sakin." Oh. "Halika na, excited na akong marinig yung boses ng labidabs ko!" I was shocked on his reaction.
"Sumbong kita kay Ate!"
"Joke lang." He let out a peace sign.
"Sige na, umuwi ka nalang." Papaalisin ko nalang siya, he can't know about what I'm doing here.
"Ha? Pano ka uuwi?"
"I'll call my driver."
"Sure ka? Okay ka na ba?"
"Kaya na." I showed him a smile. But it turned out pilit.
"Hays. Okay. Feel free to call me if anything happens, okay?" Tumango naman ako bilang sagot. He went inside his car at humayo na't umuwi.
As for me, I went inside Grazia's. Sinalubong naman ako nina Cacai. They were busy talking to a customer and after some minutes, naasikaso na nila ako.
She pulled me outside. "Regine, akala ko ba di ka makakarating ngayon?"
"Something came up. I need to escape from there." I simply said. Hindi na naman nila kailangang malaman.
"Bakit namamaga ang mga mata mo? Nag-away ba kayo ni Alcasid?" On point.
My eyes got teary-eyed dahil naalala ko na naman ang nangyari sa Oracle. Cacai sensed that what she said was right.
"Regine...ayos lang yan. Stay strong okay? Wag basta susuko. Pray, pray, pray." She hugged me. "Sige na, magperform ka na dun."

"Bitawan mo ako kung ayaw mong hindi na tayo magkita ulit." May halong pagbabanta ang boses ko.
Marahan nitong binitawan ang pagkakahawak sa braso ko. "Regine..." Naglakad na ako ng mabilis papalabas ng Grazia's. "Please love, mag-usap naman tayo..."
Hindi ko siya pinansin. Instead, mas binilisan ko pa ang paglalakad. My mind went blank. Ni hindi ko alam sa sarili ko kung paano ko to lulutasin. I am torn between talking to him and not.
I didn't expect na nakasunod pa pala ito sa'kin. "Isa akong malaking gago Regine! Hinayaan kong mangyari yun, ni hindi man ako umiwas. Naiinis ako sa sarili ko dahil sa pangyayaring yun! Nakuha nito ang kamay ko't napaikot niya ako paharap sa kanya. He is...crying. "Sorry...sorry... Mahal na mahal kita at sana alam mo yun... Ikaw lang naman ang nilalaman ng puso't isip ko Regine. H-hindi ko kayang mawala ka sakin..." He said while sobbing. Napahagulhol rin ako ng wala sa oras.
He slowly kneeled in front of me. "S-sorry for hurting you... I am such a disappointment Reg, I'm sorry. I don't deserve you and your love..."
I immediately kneeled down, cupped his face and stared at it with my watery eyes. "Tangina...bakit ba kasi mahal na mahal kita?" The tears bursted out on my cheek. "I love you so much and it hurts so much, Herminio Jose...." I said between sobs.
"I'm sorry..." We are both crying and chasing our breaths.
I removed my hands on his face and he automatically put his hands on mine. "Iove you Regine. Sobra. More than you ever think." He kissed me, and I kissed him back. It was soft and forgiving. He parted his lips on mine and wiped my tears away with his hands.
"Let's stay strong, okay? Hindi ko alam kung ano pang pwedeng gawing paninira ni Zsazsa satin, but trust me." I looked deeply in his eyes. "All you have to do is to trust me love. Ikaw lang, wala nang iba, mahal kita, papakasalan kita." A tear escaped from my eyes, and it was a joyous one. "You know how transparent I am to you. Hinding-hindi ako maglilihim kahit kaliit-liitang bagay to make you feel assured. Regine, I only ask one thing from you. Just don't let go and don't give up on me—on us."
"I trust you, and I'll never give up and never ever will go." I cried as I speak those words. Para bang nagrerecite na kami ng wedding vows.
He hugged me tight. Hindi ko dapat itapon nalang to ng basta-basta. In the past, my mistake was not to fight for Piolo and I's love, and now I vow not to commit the same mistake again. I know that this is right, and I should fight for it. We will reach the end with the smile on our faces and will live happily ever after.
Kumalas kami sa isa't isa nang tumunog ang phone ko. I immediately got it in my purse and found out that it was Gabby. Sinagot ko naman ito.
"Hello Reg?" Hingal na hingal ito.
"What is it?"
"Magkasama kayo ni Ogie?" He was speaking fast.
"Yes we saw each other." I pressed it into loudspeaker mode.
"Gabs. Bakit?"
"Good. Now listen to me. I just got this news from your staffs. Tinawagan ko kayo kaagad. Pumunta kayo sa Madonna Hospital, I am also going there. Magkita tayo dun.
"What? B-bakit?" I asked. Tumayo kami kaagad ni Ogie.
"Sharon is in the operating room. She was shot Regine."
