Um. You know the feeling na para akong na-sandwich sa kinatatayuan ko? Ang nakapagtataka lang, I am not much affected when I saw him. Maybe it's because of Ogie. Whenever I'm with him, I feel safe.

Naramdaman ko ang pagtingin sa akin ni Piolo. He has his eyes glued onto me, full of questions. Umiling nalang ako. I think he also has connections with Oracle the same as Sonrisa. They are the widest distillery distributor in town.

"Thank you for personally delivering the rest of what we ordered." Ogie said patting Piolo's arms.

"No problem. I have to go, I have to pick my girlfriend up." Napalunok ako sa sinabi niya. My heart flinched when I heard thos words. So the rumors are true. I wonder, is it the girl na pinalit niya sakin noon?

Ogie just nodded at him. Binaling ni Piolo ang tingin sa akin. I just also smiled at umalis na siya sa harap namin. That one's fake.

"Okay ka lang?" He asked me after we went into the elevator.

"Yeah, yeah." Bakit ako pinagpapawisan? Ogie was sensible enough to wipe off my sweat with his handkerchief. "Thank you."

"It's normal to act like that." He said. Parang he's comforting me in his own way. I just hehe-ed to him because I don't want this conversation to get any longer. I don't want to talk about what happened earlier at the elevator, I don't want to talk about our past. We just stayed silent.

The elevator opened and we got out of it. It was amazing! Para kaming nasa rooftop! Kasi naman see-through yung mga dingding, kita mo yung labas! It's even the fourth floor of the building.

"Ang galing mo talaga." Nasabi ko ng wala sa wisyo.

"It's not me. It's my father's design." Akmang bubuksan na ni Ogie ang kwartong pinareserve niya sa amin.

"What? How?" We got into the room. It has two single bed with complete appliances, mirrored walls seeing the sea's horizon. Just, wow. May ganito sa Sonrisa but this has a different feeling. Ewan.

We both layed down our beds and we laughed. Kasi naman, nagulat ako, water bed pala to. Tinawanan lang ako ng mokong na to. Hmp!

"Sige na, sagutin mo yung tanong ko at magkuwento ka na." I said to him. Siya naman magkuwento, syempre.

He looked at me, still laying on his bed. "Yung tatay ko is an engineer. Bata pa siya may design na siya in mind. With the help of my mother, nai-drawing nila yun. Dun din nagsimula yung love story nila."

"Oh my gosh. Ang sweet nun!!" Kinikilig ako habang nakikinig sa kanya. Akalain mo yun, nagpadrawing lang siya tapos siya na pala yung forever!?

"They built this together. Mama is an architect and a painter. Si Papa engineer so they actually make a perfect pair." And he chuckled. "I just innovated this buisness kasi mas focused na sila sa construction company. Of course with their approval, they liked my idea naman."

I gave him a round of applause. "Pinaganda mo rin pala e, ang galing mo nga. Hahahaha!" Napa-pfft naman ito.

"What about your sister Ogs? You two doesn't seem so close." Totoo naman. I never saw them communicated, or even concern para sa kapatid niya.

"Yeah. Half-sister ko lang yun. Papa impregnated a woman when he was heartbroken during Mama's accident. Na-comatose si mama last two years ago. It was a hopeless case kaya Papa was ready to let go. Miraculously, nabuhay si Mama. After two months. Buti nalang natanggap ni Mama si Michelle, she do understood Papa. Mahirap din namang iwan mag-isa si Mitch dahil nung iniluwal siya ng nanay niya, her mother died." He silently spoke. "We didn't bond that much kasi pagsundo ni Papa kay Mitch, she was already 20 and I'm already 34. Papa immediately send him to Cagayan de Oro to study. This year lang niya natapos lahat lahat ng Buisness Ad related courses, that's why ginawang training ground ni Papa ang kompanya for her. Hindi ko naman magawang magalit kasi magkadugo kami. I do understand also like Mama."

"Alam mo ba napunta ako nung gabing iyon dahil kay Gabby? You were famous daw around the area as the mystery singer." My mouth widen.

"I-I don't know... hindi naman nila pinaguusapan ang mga ganung bagay sa hotel." I shrugged.

Lumapit siya sa akin at tumabi sa higaan. Aaaaaaaa. Nagsisiksikan kami dito kasi single bed pero gora lang! "Ikaw naman kasi, the world doesn't revolve around Sonrisa love. There's a world out there. It might be scary, yes, but you have to take a step outside. That's where you grow. I faced him. "Should I really do that?"

"Tinatanong pa ba yun?" He cupped my face. "It is a must, patootie." and he gave me a peck.

The wind blows to us as I yawn. "I'm sleepy." I commented. Super duper sleepy. Nakakaantok dito sa kuwarto.
"Then sleep. I'll just stay here with you." At that moment, I knew I was safe in his arms and slept within him.

Here am I, watching Regine sleeping soundly. Gusto ko siyang halikan, yakapin, but I know my limits.

Narinig kong may kumatok sa pintuan. I slowly removed my arms into her head and checked out who that is.

"Telephone, sir."

"Link it to me."

Sinara ko na ang pintuan at sinagot kaagad ang telepono, not to wake Regine up.

"Hello, Herminio Jose Alcasid on the line. May I help you?"

"Hi Ogs! Kamusta na?"

"Zsazsa..."
