Kakarating lang namin sa mall. Well, we arrived at the perfect timing kasi saktong nagbukas rin ito. Usually alas nuebe na talaga opening hours dito since it's an Ayala one.

"So, what certain idea are you in to?" Herminio Jose asked me.

"Hmm. Pabango sana?" I replied.

"Any options aside from that?"

"Damit. Syempre royal blue." I laughed. E paborito nun royal blue e, basta something blue! Hahahaha! Ewan ko ba kay Ate. "Let's just see what we could give."

Naglibotlibot kami sa first floor. Uh, nothing special. Alam niyo, gusto ko kasi maganda tas useful. You know what, this is the first ever party she'll be throwing for her birthday. Kaya nabigla rin ako e, and that's why medyo nakakalimutan ko. She never speaks about it and I don't know why. I was also surprised when Herminio Jose said na magpapaparty daw ito. It's just her middle age, nothing more special. Siguro kasi may jowabels na yun kay kumekendeng-kendeng magpaparty. Nyahahaha.

We reached the second floor pero wala pa rin. Pati department store wala akong bet na maibigay. Haaaays. Jusko. Ano bang magandang iregalo dun? Nasa kanya na ata lahat ng bagay tsaka pwede naman siyang bumili ng mga gusto niyang bagay. The hardest person to give is the one who has it all, ika nga nila.

Sumakay ulit kami ng escalator to try looking at the 3rd floor. Pag-akyat talaga namin at nakakita kami ng watch store. Tama! Wristwatch nalang! I never seen Ate Sharon wearing any watches or whatever. Puro lang bracelets nasa kamay nun e.

"Herminio Jose, wristwatch nalang kaya?" I consulted him.

"Great idea. Yun din sana sasabihin ko pagdating natin dito e." He replied. Okay, final. Wristwatch!

Agad kaming pumasok sa tindahang iyon. We went looking through women's watches. Ang daming magaganda, di ako makapili huhu. Well, I wanted it to be thin and simple pero elegant. Yung tipong babagay sa kutis niya at sa kahit anong damit na suotin nun. Ay I forgot, majorly kulay royal blue.

"Good morning ma'am, sir." Bati sa amin ng attendant. And when she raised her head, she was mesmerized. "Omg. Ms. Velasquez? Mr. Alcasid?"

Nagkatinginan lang kami ni Ogie at sabay tumawa ng mahina. "Good morning." We said instead. Jusme.

"Uhm, bibili po kayo?" She said not to shaken her voice. Juskooo. Ang cute niya! Can she be my bestfrieeeeend?

"Yeah. Purposely a gift." Herminio Jose replied.

The attendant went back to her normal, maamong mukha. She picked a watch from her standee at pinatingin sa amin. "This is our top of the line. Best seller po yan dito."

Well, it was a gold single strapped watch. Maganda naman, camouflage ang dating sa kamay ni Ate Sha. But it was too plain and simple. Ibinigay ko ulit yung binigay niya samin and searched for more in her standee.

Alas, I found the perfect one for Ate! "Ahm miss, can you get that one?" Turan ko sa kanya. Kinuha naman niya ito at binigay sa'kin.

It was a silver one, medyo makapal lang ang strap kumpara dun sa isa. May mga diamonds pang nakaukit dito. It has a nice watchframe and waterproof din. Maliit lang ang kaha nito and I'm sure Ate would like it. Pinatingin ko ito kay Ogie and he gave me a thumbs up. Ayieee, galing ko pumili!
