"Uwi na ako Ogie." I stood up. "Malapit na rin kasi curfew ko e. Baka pagalitan ako ni Maika."

He also stood up. "Hatid na kita?"

"No, I'm good. Dun lang naman ako dadaan sa likuran. Thank you for accompanying me." I smiled at him.

"No problem, love. Pwede ka naman dito kahit anong oras o araw." He cleaned the sand out of me.

"Alis na ako." Maglalakad na sana ako nang bigla niya akong pinigilan. He pulled me for a back hug. Langyaaaaa.

"Langya ka, ngayon ka pa maglalambing!" I joked and he laughed. Totoo naman ah! Kani-kanina lang iniwan niya akong tulog, aish. Hindi siya nagsalita and after few seconds, he let me go. I caressed his face in return and nagsimula ng maglakad papalayo. As much as I want to be with him for the rest of the day, well I can't.

Madali naman akong nakarating sa lagusan and immediately went to the reception. I asked the Customer Service where Maika is at agad ko siyang pinuntahan sa opisina. Nadatnan ko itong naglalaro.

"Yeeees mananalo na kami! MVP! MVP!"

"Maika?"

"Teka lang-" Nilingon niya ako. "Ay madaaaam! You're back na pala." Agad namang niyang binitawan ang cellphone niya. Napataas ang kilay ko, hello, she's playing during office hours! Kung si Ate pa yung nakakita nun, she'll be punished for that. "Sorry po, hindi na po mauulit." It's good that she easily picked up the thought that I was disappointed.

"Ma'am, eto na nga pala yung papeles na kailangan niyong pirmahan. All of these were approved by your Ma'am Sharon na kaya yung pirma mo nalang yung kulang." It was 10 folders in total, makakapal. Disappointed but not surprised. "Bigay mo nalang po sa'kin after Ma'am."

I walked through my office, umupo at nagsimula ng magscan ng papeles. Dumiretso na ako sa mga signature spaces ng mga folder para madali ko ng matapos. In less than 10 minutes, I gave the folders to Maika. "Ano pa bang kailangang gawin?"

"Wala na po Madam, pero still, dito lang po kayo sa hotel." I rolled my eyes and frown. Akala ko makakabalik pa ako sa Oracle. Aish!

Wala akong nagawa, bumaba nalang ako ng reception area. I noticed na medyo maraming tao papasok ng hotel. Surprisingly, there, I saw my two bubbies coming to me. "Hello Stella, hello Stacey!" I hugged them one by one. "Why are you guys here?"

"Daddy said we'll visit you!" Stella giggled. Si Stella talaga tong pinakadaldalera sa kanilang dalawa. "Here's a fruit basket for you Tita!" Ani Stacey, giving me those.

Agad ko namang kinuha iyon because it was heavy. "Why bring this? It's mabigat."

"Don't worry Tita, I'm strong!" Nakangisi at proud na proud pa niyang sabi. I patted their heads saying thank you to them.

I saw the three coming into our direction. "Mariel, anong ginagawa niyo dito?"

"Kakatapos lang namin mamasyal. Tsaka etong dalawang to miss na miss ka kaya ayun, naisipan naming bisitahin ka rito." She smiled sweetly, as always. Napatingin naman ako sa dalawa, eyes filled with excitement.

"Wala naman kayong mapagkakaabalahan dito sa hotel, it's better for you to go home at the mansion." I suggested.

"Yeah yeah. Any resorts to refer?" Syempre meron. Kakagaling ko nga lang dun ee. Char.

"Oracle." Mahina kong sambit.

"Ha?" Robin.

"Oracle! Dyan lang sa malapit. Gusto niyo hatid ko kayo?" Deep inside, excited talaga ako. Sana... sana mag check in sila.

"Wag nalang Reg. We will be back tomorrow morning. Sayang yung pera, di pa namin masusulit." The overthinker commented. Sino pa ba? Edi si Kuya Christopher.

"Ay ganun ba. You want something to eat? Patbingsu? Gelato? Ang init sa labas kanina." I offered. "I know the kids will love the menu, meryenda."

The kids clapped in joy. "Mommy, let's go! I want chocolate and mallows!" Stacey said.
"Me too Mommy!" Stella also replied.

"Ano pa bang magagawa namin? Actually, under kami ng mga anak namin." Robinhood joked and we all laughed. I let them the way to the buffet area and talked to the incharge of guests.

"They're my relatives." I informed her. The guest master toured them, at sumama na rin ako sa kanila. Just in a few minutes, kumuha na rin sila ng gusto nilang kainin.

"No wonder you guys are the best here in Baguio and even belongs to the top 10 in the whole Philippines for best hotel." Kuya said. "Kumpleto kayo dito o, metikuloso even in the smallest grain of ingredient. Plus factor the cleanliness and the thoughtfulness of the staffs."

"I'm flattered naman. Eat as much as you can." Kumain naman sila.

"Tita Regine, pwede pong subuan niyo ako? I can't eat my gelato kasi e." Stacey said. Sinaway siya ni Mariel but I gestured it's fine.

"Sure, baby." Kinuha ko yung maliit na kutsara sa dining piece ni Stacey at sinubuan siya. "Is it good?" I asked her.

"Yes tita! Anything cookies and cream!" She expressed. She was so cute!

Habang sinusubuan ko si Stacey, I noticed that Kuya Christopher was texting someone and always on the phone. Halos di na nagalaw pagkain niya.

"Kuya, is there something wrong?" I asked.

"Wala, wala. It's my wife." Oh. I didn't meddle further na. He's also facing problems with his marriage, kaya pinabayaan ko nalang. He continued eating right after I talked to him.

Binaling ko naman ang atensyon ko kay Robin. "Robinhood, ayos ka na ba?" Pangungutya ko sa kanya. Well, Mariel's here... Hahahahaha!

Pinadilatan niya ako ng mata. Hahahahaha! "Anong ayos sinasabi mo, ayos naman talaga ako!" Ay? Strong? Depensib? Hahahaha!

"Buti naman, buti naman." Pero deep inside, tumatawa talaga ako sa reaksyon niya. Nakakaloka hahahaha!

Kuya Christopher looks like has something to say, he wiped his mouth first. "Before we forget, may sinabi sa akin si Sharon." I was amused hearing Ate's name. I mean, I miss her.

"Ano yun Kuya? Is it about me? Hindi na kasi siya tumatawag e. Namimiss ko na yun."

Nabigla ako sa sunod na sinabi niya.

"Martin is dead. And your Ate will come back to Baguio, she'll arrive tomorrow morning."
