"So, you know me. Hi, nice to meet you." She offered her hand. Ako? Starstrucked. Maganda siya, mestiza, matangkad, well-endowed. Di malabong nagustuhan talaga ito ni Herminio Jose. Not erasing the fact na magugustuhan siya ulit ni Ogie.

"Hello? Still up, woman?" She snapped at me.

"Ay, sorry." I took her hand so we shook hands. I just smiled at her gesture. Mabait naman siya. She look approachable. Hope we will be friends? Haha.

"Ma'am, what's your order?" Hala, ako na pala. Shems.

"Two cappuccino, large. For bringout please." I spoke. Kinuha naman ni Zsazsa ang kanyang order. In fact, sabay lang kami. Why am I getting this weird feeling?

Nauna siya sa akin so she had the common sense to say goodbye. "It was nice bumping onto you Regine. See you around." Then she went off. Naging bato lang ako sa kinatatayuan ko.

I got back to my senses when the lady called me to claim my order. I silently got out of Starbucks at pumunta ng Bread Talk ng wala sa wisyo. Damn it Regine! Get back to your senses this instant! Mahal ka ni Ogie, that is enough. Rest assured. Mag ex na sila. End of the story. Period.

Kumuha lang ako ng sampung piraso ng egg bread at inilagay sa tray na dala dala ko. I immediately went to the counter to pay and claimed what I bought after wrapping. Binilisan ko ang paglakad papunta ng sasakyan. I hopped into the passenger's seat and gave Kuya Ruben his share. He deserve it though.

"Kuya, anytime, after you eat that, let's go straight to the hotel." I said to him.

"Sige po Maam. Salamat po ulit dito." I just smiled at him.

After five minutes of eating in the car, bumaba si Kuya Ruben para itapon ang pinagkainan namin. Nagsimula na itong magdrive papunta sa hotel namin. Tahimik lang ako sa sasakyan. Mixed thoughts were in my head. Ewan ko ba, mababaliw na ata ako.

Bumaba na ako ng sasakyan ng sinabihan ako ni Kuya Ruben na dumating na kami. Pumasok ako kaagad at nag-inquire sa receptionist.

"Good morning, my sister booked a room for me here."

"Name please?" Tinignan nito ang computer.

"Wait, may text message siyang pinadala." Mas mabuti ng sigurado at safe. We don't easily give our names, besides we're a VIP in this hotel.

I took my phone in my bag at kaagad na pinakita ang text message ni Ate sa akin. Napaawang nalang ang receptionist, knowing who we were. Seems like bago pa lang siya dito.

"Same rules. Ask your head what are those." I said. Agad naman akong tinanguan ng babae and immediately went to her head. Napatingin naman ang head sa akin and she gave me a nod.

The lady receptionist gave the keys to me. "Thank you." Sabi ko na lamang at sumakay na ng elevator. I don't know what to do, maybe I'll just stay in my room all day? Mamayang hapon nalang ako gagala. I mean, ang init. It's already 10, and I ain't sleepy. Uminom pala ako ng kape kanina. Gosh, caffeine.

Inakyat na ni Kuya Ruben ang mga gamit ko sa suite na pinareserve sa akin ni Ate. I just mouthed 'thank you' and said he could go wherever he wants. Tutal, mamaya pa naman ako aalis. Let him enjoy Manila for a while.

After setting my things up, humiga ako sa kama. I remember being at Oracle, together with that guy. Those where the joyous moments I've ever had in my entire life. Ngayon, ang lungkot lungkot ng kama ko kasi wala siya sa tabi ko. Namimiss ko na tuloy yung romantikong yun. Aish.
