tj sat back down, and before he jnew it, the show was starting.

they were about to the point of candy store, when cyrus saw tj.

his face went pale.

then, they made eye contact.

when lester wasn't looking, tj nodded towards the exits. cyrus gave a thumbs up. "i-i'm gonna go to the bathroom." cyrus whispered to buffy, getting up.

"kay." she answered, and let him out to the aisle.

tj told lester he was getting more snacks, and he left as well.

the two met up in the lobby.

"well, kippen, i didn't expect you to be a musical guy. especially going to a bootleg of the musical the school is putting on in like 3 weeks." cyrus laughed.

"there's a lot you don't know about me, goodman." he whispered, pushing cyrus lightly into a different room. an empty room.

he sat cyrus on a table in there, it must have been the special event room, and connecting their lips softly.

cyrus kissed back, and tj pulled cyrus closer by putting his hand to the back of his neck. eventually, the two pulled away.

"hey." cyrus whispered, looking into tj's eyes.

"hey." tj only whispered back.

cyrus blushed. "we should probably get back to the show-"

"do you want to be my boyfriend?"

tj's question shut cyrus up. did he? yes? would he?

"yes."

and with that, tj kissed him again. he pulled cyrus up off the table and planted him on his feet, slowly pulling away. "let's go back, boyfriend."

cyrus nodded, and tj left first, going back to lester.

they somehow now had an unspoken rule:

nobody, would know about their relationship.

after the musical, the cast bowed, getting a standing ovation. cyrus, andi, buffy, marty and jonah stood up, about to leave.

"did you guys know tj kippen was here?"

the other four turned around to look at jonah. "he was?"

"yeah, i ran into him in the bathroom. he looked so overwhelmed." jonah explained.

cyrus' face went pale again.

"weird. never would have thought i'd hear 'musical' and 'tj kippen' in the same sentence." andi shrugged as they left the building.

cyrus stayed in uncomfortable silence, and marty noticed. he didn't say anything to the group about it, though.
