I woke up the next morning and got ready calling Miss Hartman's office, "Hello? This Dr. Hartman office."

"Hi Stacey, this is Tabitha Fell. I was wondering if Miss Hartman had an opening either later today or tomorrow?"

"Oh Miss Fell! Of course! As it so happens she has an opening this afternoon after school ends."

"Great, thank you."

"Anytime dear, see you later!"

"Goodbye," I hung up the phone and then heard the doorbell ring.

I made my way downstairs and opened the door. I froze seeing Anna standing there with an older woman. I steeled my nerves and asked, "Anna, what are you doing here?"

The elder woman answered, "We came to talk, might we come in?"

I scoffed, "You're kidding right? Why would I open up my home to a couple of vampires? This home is going to be the home where I raise my son, I prefer to keep it vampire free."

The elder woman nodded, "Fair enough, my name is Pearl, I am Anna's mother and from what Anna has told me, you are the most capable vampire hunter in town. I would like to negotiate with you on behalf of the tomb vampires."

My eyes widened, "What? Tomb Vampires?"

Anna smiled, "Yes, apparently your friend's grandmother didn't actually put back up the seal on the tomb. Every vampire that was trapped down there is alive and currently readjusting to the new century."

Pearl took over, "However, we understand that may trouble you, given your apprehension to our kind as well as the way you were raised, but I want nothing more than peace. With your help, I would like my brethren and I took smoothly reintegrate into society."

I frowned, "Why? Why here when you can go anywhere?"

"This place is my home, but I understand your concern. I promise that my people and I will be discreet with feeding on the townsfolk and promise no deaths, trust me when I say that I do not want the Founder's Council to retaliate against us again. I promise that no tomb vampire shall feed on any Fell in Mystic Falls. I also promise that this town will be safe for you to raise your son."

I stared at her, still standing in the doorway and realized how outnumbered I was. There were 26 vampires in that tomb and despite being a badass there was no way I was going to kill them all by myself. Better have them on my side than against me. I sighed, "Fine, as long as you keep up your promise; I swear to help the Tomb vampires, who have complete control of their hunger, integrate back into society. I also promise to not tip off the Founder's Council of your return. But, if there is even a single death by vampire in Mystic Falls between now and the day I graduate, which is the day I finally get to bring my son home, I will lock all of you back up in that Tomb and make sure you rot for eternity."

Pearl nodded, "Of course, the deal is made then." She bowed her head, "Have a wonderful day, Miss Fell."

I closed the door and tried to call Stefan, but it went to voicemail and I refused to call Damon considering what he did last night, so I grabbed my backpack and drove to school. I pulled into the parking lot and walked my Alaric's classroom freezing in place. I stood in the doorway and gasped, "No way." The teacher in question looked up and I felt tears creep into my eyes, "Is that really you?"

Thinking quickly Alaric ushered me into the classroom, shut and locked the door as I began crying, "I saw you last night. You were dead. Damon killed you. How are you here?"

Alaric sat me down in one of the desks, showing me his ring, "This ring was given to me by Elena's birth mother, Isobel. I can come back to life if I'm killed by a supernatural being."
