Title: The Ancients

Genre: werewolf

Mature: Not really

Cover and Title: 4/5
The cover is beautiful, though the dragon had my confused when we're then reading about wolves.

The title isn't all that popping, but I can't think of anything better.

Blurb: 4/5
I don't think all the questions at the end are necessary. Once you started talking about the murderer that might follow her is a bit overkill on the questioning. The beginning is fantastic.

First Impressions: 3/5
I was pretty confused at the start. It took me awhile to fall in love with Catherine. She just didn't seem real in her reactions, though that changed quickly.

Characters: 5/5
Where do I start?

How about Nick? He had me spinning. I both shipped him with C and hated him. Now I'm less trustful. I think he might be with the weirdos.

Dante: oh my god! He's my favorite. There's so much mystery surrounding him, but he's definitely more than your letting on. My love of angst ships him with Catherine, but come on, try and tell me there's no sexual tension between those two!

Alicia: thank you for letting your MC has friends She'd put above her love interest. I've shipped her both with Reece and Dante.

Reece: thank you for showing an alpha that doesn't abuse his power. Thank you. I've never seen an alpha that's not just some macho dick. Your portrayal of sibling relationships made me smile. I also briefly wanted him to be with Jase.

Grammar: 3/5
Lots of small typos. Many of them had been pointed out by readers, but they weren't fixed. Make sure you get on that.

Also, for dialogue, the comma goes within the quotation marks.

"Bla bla bla," said MC.

Plot: 4/5
My only con is that it took too long to get to the interesting part. Let's get to the plot sooner!

Overall: 23/30 or 3.8/5
Sorry this took so long. I've been working very hard on the most recent chapters of Crown of Thorns . Anyway, I adore this story. Any flaws I found early were forgotten as more secrets unfolded. Well done.
