Title: Keepsake of My Love

Genre: romance

Mature: A few hotter scenes and some language

Cover and Title: 3.5/5
The title was really cute, especially once I understood what it referred to. The problem there was that it took awhile for me to match the title with the video.

As for the cover, it was pretty, but not particularly catching. I couldn't tell who the blond was supposed to be, or if it was two girls or a guy and a girl and it confused me as to who the main relationship was going to be.

Blurb: 3/5
Eh. It wasn't bad by any means, and I've seen some really bad blurbs. But it wasn't particularly unique. The description of Jacob in the first part was so cliché, it undermined that the relationship was more friendship than looks. It made it look like Jake and Lydia would have the same superficial relationship as soon many teen fiction/chicklit romances. Also, do people have naturally violet eyes? I'm interested because I've never seen it.

First Impressions: 3/5
I didn't really have high hopes as it seemed very cliché, and I really don't like books centered on high school romances. That being said, my impression did improve.

Characters: 4/5
I was very impressed with your characters. All I need to say is thank you. Thank you for making them people with loves outside their romance.

Grammar: 5/5
Didn't spot any mistakes. Congratulations!

Plot: 3/5
While it started very slow with the high school parts, once they graduate, it got so much better. No longer were they just immature children, but they grew up and so did their relationship. I also loved how the video time capsule came full circle.

I would recommend changing the epilogue. I like how they watch the video, but ending with the script bit eliminates a lot of the power you want in the last line.

Overall: 3.58/5 or 21.5/30
Well done!
