Maria's POV:
I got into the tub with her, being very careful, and as she lay back on me, I relaxed a bit. I lather some soap in my hands, asking, before rubbing the soap into her back, massaging her a bit, humming a small tune to her. She rests her head on my shoulder, and just lay there, telling me how she felt. I listened to her speak, taking it in. "I-I'm not boring you, am I Maria?" She asks nervously, to which I give her a big goofy grin, "Of course not Pegleg." She looks at me a moment contemplating. I wanted to kiss her, but knew she would do it if she wanted to, and felt comfortable. I felt a warm pair of lips on mine for a moment, and I smile wide. "I've missed you." I say, giggling. Her smile falters, "S-Sorry." "Hey. That's not what I meant. I love you, take your time. I will wait a lifetime, not even that, so much more for you." I crack a small smile, and she wraps her arms around me, "I love you."
