The vampires lunged at the house. When they hit the wall of protection they didn't bounce off like Ava's wall did, instead they seeped through, their skin burning. Ava's wolf growled, threw the vampires body outside the wall and started to snap its jaws.

"You are bound!" the female vampire with the brunette hair yelled, the vampires starting to back off. Seth knew that the vampires wouldn't catch the trick in his voice so he smiled.

"I promised that I would tell her to let him go. I never said that she would." he yelled back, "She makes her own decisions," he protested. Even if he wanted to, Seth knew that he probably wouldn't be able to stop her from killing him. She was getting stronger now and now she was a threat.

Send someone to get me some clothes. Ava's voice filled his head. He still didn't understand how she could get in his head without him letting her in but he really wish she couldn't. It risked exposing his plans.

"Okay," Seth nodded at Ava's wolf, "Emma? Go grab Ava some clothes, she wants to talk for herself," Emma looked at him and he could see the annoyance in her eyes but she saw the seriousness in his so she sighed and walked into the house. "After Ava changes back she will talk to you, unless you're willing to leave now?" nobody said anything, "That's what I thought."

Emma opened the door and Ava's black wolf entered the house. Her wolf was all black, just not like Tyson's. Tyson's wolf was black but with a tint of brown, like his hair. Ava's was onyx black, like her hair. Tyson's eyes were red ringed with black and Ava's eyes were very different. One was exactly like Tyson's, her left one, and the other was her regular blue-green eyes but it glowed in a way that showed her witch genes.

The two different colored eyes showed when they found there mate. A wolf is stronger with their mate. That wasn't good if they were both mates. No wonder Tyson was already as strong as a wolfborn.

The door opened and the vampires started yelling again. Seth turned around. Ava was standing in the doorway, a smile on her face. She had on a short black dress and her long hair was ratted and had small patches of blood in it. She bowed her head to the Night Children and the wolves and then to Seth, Emma and Tyson's huge wolf that were all crowded on the small steps.

"I was surprised at how much I liked the taste of his blood," Ava shrugged and more vampires lost their patience and pounced only to be sifted away into ash. Tyson's wolf made a sound like a laugh, if wolves could laugh.

"You bitch. You had no reason to do that, we were leaving!" the brunette vampire yelled, holding back a huge red wolf that seemed to be struggling, foam fusing out of its mouth and eyes like fire.

"I am Ava Robinson. I am the first witch-lycanthrope hybrid and you threatened my family and if you don't leave now I'll do more than just threaten you," Ava spat, raising her arms and Seth felt the heat of her silver strings as they curled around her. Tyson bristled and Emma tightened her grip on her whip. Seth pulled out one of his Bolo knives and spun it in his hand, a smile spreading on his lips.

"I am Emma Livingston. I am a Livingston witch, one of the most  powerful witch families and you threatened my friends family and if you don't leave now I swear to god you'll feel more pain than you thought possible," Emma stepped down one step and tapped her whip against her wrist, causing it to form a bronze knife-like point at the end.

Tyson growled, snapped his teeth and took a step forward. His deep red eyes glowed and he allowed some venom to drip from his thick, sharp canines. Seth felt awkwardly out of place so he sighed and stepped forward, pulling out his other knife.
