"What?" I asked, confused but really, I wasn't that surprised. Tyson was always attending meetings and he was always the one handing out announcements that were important and he was always the one giving the best advice.

"Of course, you would be the one to lead off the decision on whether we listen to their needs and wants or we ignore them, but I do think that the people have a point. Tyson is the one that seems to be in rule all ready. He seems to be the head, you don't usually do much," A red-headed girl snapped. She was young and clearly didn't know her boundaries so I glared at her and she lowered her head, submitting.

"I thought he was already king," I said, looking around the long table, "since I'm the queen and all. Doesn't that make him king already?" I had been asking questions that verified things since I had been here, still getting the hang of being queen. Well, maybe I wouldn't have to be queen much longer.

"Well, actually, he is your consort officially," Logan said, bowing his head respectably, "He cannot be the king until you two are married and unless you are willing to do that soon then I suggest we figure out what to do."

Married? Now? I looked at Tyson, who hadn't spoken since we had entered the room. His mouth was parted, his eyes wide, and his hands behind his back. I watched his Adam's apple bob as he swallowed and turned to meet my gaze.

I opened my mouth to speak but he beat me to it. "Give us some time," he spoke, glancing at me for my okay. I nodded. "Tell the people that we are considering changing roles as king or queen and if not," he raised his hands, gesturing in the air, "then that is the decision made by the queen and she is still their queen. End of discussion." he finished and stepped down from the small step on the side of the podium, walking towards the door.

I glanced at Logan and he sighed and nodded his head, knowing what I meant to ask him without me even asking. "Thank you for alerting me of this situation and I promise that no matter what, we will come to a decision by tomorrow night, at the latest. Make the announcement tonight though." I nodded to them, stepped down from the podium and started walking towards the door, the way Tyson had gone.

"This is what I mean. She didn't even make the decision, he did," a familiar voice filled my head. A very annoying voice. I stopped in my tracks, slowly turning around, my eyes searching for a blonde head. My eyes landed on the woman. She was turned away from me, talking to the red-headed girl who had snapped at me earlier.

I slowly walked back over to the table, laying my hands on the top. "What is your name?" I asked, calmly. I wasn't going to freak out yet. She looked up from her conversation, her slightly slanted eyes betraying anger.

"Lilian," she said, a little acid slipping into her voice. I smiled nicely at her.

"Okay, Lilian," I emphasized her name, "What is your role on this counsel?" I asked looking around the room, as if searching for her purpose.

"I send in for food and supplies for clean water," she said, lifting her chin proudly. I sighed and pressed my lips into a thin line.

"Well, that doesn't give you much position to speak against me, does it?" I asked, finally sounding more angry. Lilian's face turned bright red and her mouth worked, no noise coming out. "No, it doesn't," I filled in for her, "Save your breath, it's my turn to speak," her mouth snapped shut but her eyes still glared daggers at me. All the people's eyes were on me now, staring in shock. I ignored them. "I suggest you stop talking against me or the first real decision I make will be the most painful way they kill you," I whispered dangerously. She started to speak again but I held up my hand. "I am not finished yet. The reason why Tyson is usually the one handing out announcements is because I usually don't have the time and, like you said, the people already don't like me. The reason why he gives good advice is because that's how he is. I won't say I am a better leader than him, because I'm not, but I will say that as long as I live, I will get better. I don't care what you guys think about me. You will most likely have either a new ruler tomorrow or I will still rule over you. Either way, you answer to me for today. And me only. I don't give a damn what you think is right and what you think is wrong, I am your ruler!" I yelled, pointing at me, "I give the orders around here and if I hear shit about you talking against me again I'll obliterate you as a show for our people, do you understand?"
