Chapter 5- We almost kissed.

I got to my locker a got some stuff out of it. I was about to close it when someone did it for me.

"Thanks?" I said more like a question.

"You ditched me." Brandon said with a bored expression.

"What?"I asked a little confused.

"You ditched me yesterday. We were supposed to do our English project.

"Am... Something came up." I said matching his deep tone of voice.

"What ever, nerd." My heart was now racing. Something about him made me speechless. Suddenly the bell snapped me out of my thoughts.

School was over so I went to the gym only to see Alex waiting on me. Alex is my personal trainer, this guy was never late. But apart from how nice he could be, he's a suck up. A TOTAL B*TCH.

"You're late." He said his voice boomed through the gym.

"Chill man it's only been a few minutes." A voice said from behind me. I snapped my head in the direction of this stranger.

"Brandon?!" I shouted, oh sh*t that was loud. I was supposed to say that in my head not out loud.

He suddenly showed a shocked expression "You know me?"

"Oh Alex talks about you all the time." Smooth!

"I do?" He asked confused

"Yeah remember you showed me that picture?" I asked picking him in the side to play along.

"Oh yeah I did." He said "Ok so I'm gonna leave and Rena Brandon will be training you today."

"Wait what?!" I yelled in shock. He can't leave me here with Brandon!

"Is everything ok?" he asked held back by my expression.

"I mean you never had a problem with Liam training you in my absence so what's wrong with Brandon." Alex asked leaving me speechless. "No no no it's fine let's get into it."

Brandon followed me to the treadmill and spoke again. "You look familiar." He said inspecting every inch of my face. Oh sh*t.

"Of cause I look familiar cause you see me on your TV often enough." I said smoothly. Darn I'm so good at lying.

"You're funny Rena." He said and started inspecting the way I was running.

"Faster" he said putting up the speed. It was so sudden that I wasn't able to catch myself. Brandon was standing behind me and caught me. One of his hands were on the small of my back and the other caressing my cheek.

For some reason I didn't move. It felt right to be in his hold. My breathing quickened as he inched closer to me, his breath now fanning my face.

"Brandon-" He cut me off when he brushed our lips together. I was trembling, funny story I've never had my first kiss.

I know many persons thing I've made out millions of times but it's not true. This was the closets my lips ever went. Like literally.

He pulled away when someone cleared their throught. He was standing there with his arms crossed over his chest.

The treadmill was still running and here I was in Brandons arms. Note the word was because he dropped my helpless body on the floor.

"Ouch! Little b*tch..." That sh*t hurt like a b*tch.

"Sorry." He whispered straightening up and stretching out his hand to help me up.

"I'm fine." I said in a harsh tone while getting off the floor myself.
I surprised myself when I slap his really hard.

"Okay okay calm down Rena." Alex said grabbing me by the arm before I could damage him any further.

I was able to get out of his hold and swang a punch and it hit him in the jaw. Now I'm satisfied so I run to my gym bag grabbed grabbed it and sat in my car.

I text Maddy telling what just happened and as I expected she was freaking out.

She planning his funeral and how she would kill him by pushing him off a cliff. She's crazy but I like it, it's just who she is and besides that's what best friends do after all.

I wasn't even mad anymore cause Maddy made me laugh. Gosh, what would I do without her?
