Chapter 13- Lying to my face

A FEW WEEKS LATTER

"I know Rena's accident wasn't real. I mean she obviously faked an accident the day before our match and we all know it was because she's scared of me. I know you're watching Rena let's just face it you can't beat me in anything. You're nothing, you never was and you never will be somebody who could stand in the arena and say I beat Nikki because you are just a sad little girl who can never beat me." Nikki says mockingly

With utter disgust I got out of my chair and started making my way to the ring.

No one knew I was here neither were they expecting me. My broken bones were healed and I could walk steadily.

Ealier today I had the doctor put on a fake cast so I could make my entry.

As my song came on I walked down the ramp on my crutches and Nikki looked at me with disgust.

I enter the ring to a fyrious Nikki.

"If you thought this was over then you are having a nightmare cause I don't quit." I said, my tone deep and cold.

And she laughs. "Look at you Rena I mean just take a good long look at your self, youre just an over sized bitch..."

I cut her off mid sentence and my crutches make contact with her temple make her stamble back.

I then rip the bandages off and hit her across her face, she is furious. She comes rushing at me but I dough and give her a spare wgen she least expected it.

She went tumbling to the floor, weak and hope less.

I then pick up the mike "Looks like I-beat-Nikki!" I scream and the crowd went wild.

No one knows how much I've been wanting to do that the past few weeks. She had been running her jaw all over social media saying that I'm a quitter and a sad soul.

"Girl you nailed it!" Maddy screams as I return to my dressing room.

"That felt amazing!" I scream in return

"How is your leg, does it hurt?" She asks concern filling her eyes.

"Maddy I'm fine. My mom is gonna be soo upset when she sees this tonight."

"Well someone's in big trouble..." she trails off.

"Madds what's wrong?" I asked as her eyes get watery.

"Rena I need to tell you something. But I can't tell you here, lets go for ice cream and I'll tell you there." She said whipping her tears

"Don't cry, what ever it is we're in it together." I said trying to cheer her up.

"Rena it's about you and I'm a fool for keep such big news away from my best friend I feel horrible."

Now she's pouring her eyes out into my shirt.

"It's okay, it can't be that bad can it?" I asked "let's just go for ice cream and we'll talk about it."

I pull the door with Maddy's face hurried in my shoulder.

"What could be soo bad..." I froze in my spot.

Everything around me was no longer important. I looked ahead with utter disgust, my heart turning bitter and my eyes cold as ice while Zanda Escobar stood in front of me.

"What are you doing here?" I asked coldly and he giggles.

"Didn't your friend tell you?" He asked

"What are you talking about..." He cuts me off

"didn't Maddy tell you that I donated blood to your surgery cause your helpless mother didn't have the same blood type as you?" He said mockingly

"Didn't you do enough damage eleven years ago with all your lies when you called Xavier and I embarrassments and treated us like trash?" I asked furiously.

If he thought it was okay to just walk back into my life and would be accepted he was wrong.

"Listen Richardo if you thought you could just walk into my life and be accepted you're wrong so you can match back to the place you ran away to in the first place!" I shouted catching the attention of a few persons.

"Wow hold it there missy don't make this all about the past cause if I weren't here you would have never gone through with that surgery, you should probably ask Maddy she saw every bit of it." He said matching my previous tone.

"Maddy, you knew?" I asked my voice coming shaky.

"Rena I'm sorry I was gonna tell you tonight..." I cut her off

"You lied to me, you lied to my face and all this time you pretended everything was okay." I try holding myself together but a tear drop run down my cheek.

She lied for over four months. She had avoided the topic of my surgery and so did my mom.

Sometimes when you really think you can trust someone is when they leave you hanging at you lowest.

I couldn't hold it in anymore. Tears stream down my cheeks and I run off hopelessly just like the weak Rena would in the past. When I was little all I did was run away from everything life sent my way especially when my dad use to beat my mom, I would run away hopelessly to a corner to cry.

But over the years I grew stronger and what my dad did just made me stronger and with Xavier by my side I didn't need anything else. I was satisfied with the little we had and I learnt how to be independent and started wrestling to boost my confidence when I started being bullied, but after I built that wall to protect me here I was running away from the same person I promised I would never let hurt me like he did to my mother.

I got into my car and started driving with no destination in mind and that's how I found myself infront of the trap house.

I needed my brother more than anything in the world and maybe a puff when he was not looking.
