Chapter 14- Maybe Being Small Pays Off

I didn't know where to go.

I most definitely didn't want to see my mother and everyone else was another story. The only person I felt like I could look up to was my brother and after much arguing I was finally getting somewhere.

"Xavier you have to let me in I promise I can take care of myself."

"Rena it's too dangerous I can't let my little sister into such a big mess." He shouts, his eyes cold as ever.

I had never seen my brother soo angry, his light brown eyes were now a darker shade of brown but I had to keep trying.

"Xavier if you don't let me in I'm gonna start my own..." He cuts me off

"Don't even think of it." He sighs. "I just don't wanna see my baby hurt, do you know how dangerous this is? I don't wanna wake up one morning and see you dead on my front step."

"I get it but I want this."

"You want it but you don't need it. You have a great family who can take care of you and a successful wrestling career. You don't want people going around saying that Rena Beau is dealing drugs or that she got her spot in wrestling because she's a drug dealer." He said

"Bro we literally are from the same family. Yoy got the same support as me but you still do it and as for my career I love it but it's fucked up but I can still handle it so what make you think I can't handle this? I don't care what people think and they won't think it cause they won't know."

"Think sis I'm not letting you in. You could come visit but joining right now is not an option." He said.

"Remember when ee were kids you told me what ever business you started I would take over after you and this is your business so why not let me in." I said

"Rena this is beond what you can control." He said

"Oh so that's what this is about, because I'm a girl you think I can't handle it? What about all these other girls you got out there half naked, they can handle it but I can't!" I shouted

"You're not life them Rena you're different and smarter these girls don't do any of the dangerous work they're just stripers to satisfy the guys here and you're not one of them!" He shouted back

"So that's what you think of these girls? You think they're weak because they're not guys? There are more to these girls than what you see that's just disrespectful to use them for things like that!" I shouted.

"Rena I'm not using them they choose to do it and no I don't think females are weak because two of my best shooters are girls but you don't see them because they are not like these girls you see out there because they actually respect them selves and so should you!" He shouted "No one is disrespecting those girls they're disrespecting themselves by voluntarily doing that shit." He said in a calmer voice.

"Then why don't you give me a chance to be like them and learn how to use a gun?" I said, this time in a much calmer voice.

"They're not just shooters they're the best accountants in the trap. Don't get me wrong yes you're smart enough to do it but you're gonna have to do a lot of shit and I want you to do good in school." He said in a serious tone.

"I promise I will and this or wrestling won't change anything about my grades." I respond.

"But you gotta prove to me you're strong..." I cut him off.

"I broke my leg four months ago and I was still able to kick Nikki Bella's butt." I said

"That was pretty good, you came from nowhere." He chuckles. "I know you're physically strong and a great fighter with no weponds but can you handle weponds?" He asked

"Looks like we'll have to find out." A female voice said from behind me

I turn to be greeted with a gun. I make a swift move and kick the gun out of her hand, picked it up, and aimed it at her.

She was fear with long brown hair which hang in a ponytail, light grey eyes and she was a fair hight.

"Pretty good for someone who never held a real guy before." She said with an impressed expression.

"I do love paintball fighting." I said putting my gun down."

"Natt this is my little sister Rena and this is Natty, she's one of those I told you about." Xavier said putting his arm around my shoulder.

"Nice to meet you." I said

"Same. Your brother brags about you soo much he turned everybody in here into a fan of yours. All the TV's in here are turned to live wrestling every Monday night to watch your match." She said with a big grin.

I turn to Xavier "What?" He asked guiltily and we all laugh.

"You're not my biggest fan until you have my face printed on every notebook and text book like this guy at school."

"I wish I didn't know that goofball." Natty said

"You know him?" I asked

"Unfortunately the creep sounds life my brother. He got your picture printed on all his books and his pillow as well." She replied.

"Now that's creepy." I said "Anyways here's your gun I better get going."

"Okay baby sis be careful." Xavier said hugging me. "At four tomorrow you find yor butt up here."

"Sure thing bro." I replied

I guess being the smallest has some advantages after all.
