Chapter 26- Loving Myself.

Rena's POV

I've been bawling my eyes out. Everything in my life is going down hill.

My brother run away and won't answer any of my calls. My dad died in gang activity, and to make matters worse I was part of it.

I know, I know. I said a lot of things but in the end he's still my dad and he saved my life.

Even if he left me at a young age, hated me with everything inside him or did everything to see me fail in life, he still my dad.

So I've been sitting in the same spot in my room for days. I haven't had anything to eat, I haven't showered, I haven't trained and I definitely won't check my phone.

My mom enters my room every five seconds to try to get me to eat something.

Brandon visits everyday, trying to get me out of my spot and Maddy has technically been living with me, poking me ever second.

I've been soo selfish. I've ben trying to impress others when I needed to be there for the people who care.

Its really been a challenge. I've been caught up in life and being unhappy that I didn't even realize it's my mom's birthday.

I need to get up, I need to get out of this mess. It has to stop and it's gonna stop this second.

I try getting up but my legs feel like jello. I try speaking but nothing come out.

Maddy seems to realize cause she helps my up. I walk to the bathroom then it hits me, I stink.

I turn on the shower, took of my clothes  and hop in. God! Water feels soo good!

All my life I never realized how much I love bathing. This will never happen again I'm bathing everday from now on.

I scrubbed my skin and washed my hair. I let the water run down all my bullet wound and scares.

I got out of the shower, put some clean clothes on and brushed my teeth.

When I entered my room,there Brandon sat on my bed with Maddy and my mom by his side.

"What is going on?" I asked confused, I'm hoarse.

"We were so worried sweety!" My mother shouted running to me and giving my a big hug. "Never do this again you scared me to death."

"Oh I won't I promise." I say firmly remembering that awful smell from before.

She just smiled, turned to Maddy and nodded then Maddy winked at Brandon.

What are they up to?!

They both walk out leaving Brandon and I alone. We stare at each other for a while not saying anything.

"Soo..." I said breaking the awkward silence.

"I missed you." He murmured

"I missed you too." I responded.

He stood up and walked towards me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

Freak! I missed his touch. His smile, his deep voice, his arrogant self, his usual smell, you name it!

I put one hand on his chest and one on his shoulder. I just wanna kiss...

He kissed me.

Fireworks burst in my stomach. The kiss is gentle and pationate. His hands explore my body, he grabbed my butt causing me to gasp but I don't pull away causing him to smile into the kiss.

We pull away both panting heavily.

"I love you." He said smiling

I can't help but smile. What would I do without this guy.

"I love..." My stomach brambles on cue. "Food." I said causing his face to drop

"Lets go shopping." I said pulling him out the door.

"Mom we're going shopping are you guys coming?" I shout as I enter the kitchen.

"No honey I got a date but Maddy will go." Mom said.

"Ohhhhh!" We said in unison.

"Shhh!" She said abruptly. "Go alone now." She said swatting the kitchen towel in the air.

Someone's blushing.

Let's just say we got a lot of gifts. You woulda thought I forgot mom's birthday, wrong!

I  over heard Maddy telling her happy birthday before we left this morning. I mean can you blame me? I didn't even know what day it was.

We're currently sitting in the food court and Brandon just got back with the food.

Looking down on the goodness I lick my lips, I haven't eaten in soo long I could swallow a cow right now.

I reach out and take a big bite out of my burger. I moan from the amazing taste, this soo good.

"Brandon." I called with a mouth full of fries.

"Hmm" He hummed.

"You're my side man now." I said smiling.

His face dropped and Maddy's expression was priceless.

"What?" He asked confused and his fists clenched on the table.

"I'm replacing you with something which has been there for me from the day I was born, meaning I knew him before you." I said, a smile threatening to appear on my face.

Maddy's face droped. "A vibrater?" She asked disgusted.

"Eww" I scream. "Maddy do you think I'd ever stoop that low?"

"Oh right, you're a virgin." She say relaxing.

I choose to ignore her statement and turned to Brandon. Well someone's upset.

"Do you wanna know his name." I asked seriously.

Darn I should be an actress!

"Are you freaking serious right now!" He shout, his knuckles are white and Maddy's recording.

"His name is Beef. Beef, Fries, Food. He treats me soo right, I never realized how much I loved him." I said smiling. Yeah I went that far.

Maddy burst into laughter and Brandon relaxes.

"Girl get outta here!" He shouted playfully.

"Honestly he's been soo loyal, best boyfriend boyfriend ever." I laughed

"He can't give you that D tho!" He said and I chocked on my water, Maddy's phone literally fell while recording.

I'm dead...

Later that day we gave my mom the presents we got her and went out for luch.

Today couldn't have been better. I learnt a lot about myself.

You don't have to be what people want you to be or be the person you think people will love you for the real you, then they're stupid.
