The day before a festival has always been mine and Jeremy's lazy day. The day when we don't do anything except talk to each other.

I woke up to a note on the nightstand telling me that he would be right back up. That he just ran downstairs to get breakfast.

I chuckled and sat up on my bed. I decided to text Callie until he got back.

Me: Hey, Callie. Free to talk?

I got an almost instant reply from her. Damn she's quick.

Callie: I am always. What happened? Who did it? Who do I need to murder?

I laughed at her. Always protective and shit.

Me: Callie, don't jump the gun. I don't always need ya to murder someone. Anyways, I wanted to ask your opinion on something.

I decided to get changed out of my clothes from last night so I grabbed a pair of black and maroon basketball shorts and a jersey of Jeremy's. I didn't have anything packed that I could wear on a lazy day, sue me.

I fell back on my bed and checked my phone. I had two messages. One from Callie and the other from Jeremy.

Jeremy: Hey, baby girl. Food didn't look good. So, I'm searching for a McDonald's and a Starbucks. I'll be back soon. Love ya Cuz.

I laughed and responded.

Me: Aiight. That sounds better than hotel food anyways. Love ya too Cuz!

I shook my head before replying to Callie, explaining everything. She basically said the same thing as Val and Michelle. That I can't let anything get in the way of me being happy.

I sighed as I stood and sat by the open window. We were about five miles from the festival grounds and I could see it clearly.

I decided to go through my Twitter and Instagram. I noticed that I had a few new followers. And that Callie tweeted a picture of Cleo.

She was sitting on the couch with Cleo around her neck. Like she always does me.

@calliecat: My beautiful charge! @hollyheydedrums Cleo misses her mommy!

I laughed as I responded to the tweet.

@hollyheydedrums: @calliecat I miss my baby! Don't worry Cleo! Mommy will be back soon!

I scrolled through my newsfeed and saw a tweet Jeremy posted last night. It was a picture of the two of us we took on our last lazy day. I smiled a little at what he typed.

I looked up when the door opened to see Jeremy walking in with Starbucks and McDonald's. I grinned as I stood and walked over to meet him at the table.

He handed me my caramel latte and my bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit while he sat with his own coffee and bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit.

I laughed as I sat down, "Thanks, Jer," I said before I dug into my food. "Oh! We should take a few lazy day selfies!"

He laughed and nodded before he pulled me in for a side hug and held his phone out. We both made silly faces and took so many pictures before we went back to eating.

Laughing, Jeremy put the pictures on Twitter. My phone buzzed, letting me know I had notifications on Twitter.

I pulled my phone out and looked at them, seeing Jeremy's tweets.

@drumsfromhell: Isn't my cousin gorgeous!? Our lazy day is off to an amazing start! @hollyheydedrums

I laughed as my notifications went crazy. Alan, Austin, Phil, and Jason were the first to favorite them.

@AlanAshby: Gorgeous definitely! @drumsfromhell @hollyheydedrums

I laughed as Jeremy's phone pinged. Jeremy rolled his eyes as we finished breakfast.

"Hey, Holly, wanna go to the Deep Creek Hot Springs?" he asked me with a grin.

"Sure, why not?" I responded with a grin.

"Hey, wanna ask Alan and Austin to join us?" he asked me as I stood and grabbed my bikini out of my suitcase.

"Sure," I responded before I walked into the bathroom. "Care to ask him while I'm changing?"

"Sure, Holls," he told me. "I'm gonna change real quick before I do."

I quickly stripped before I pulled on my black and blue bikini. I pulled on what I put on before Jeremy got back and left the bathroom. After calling out to ask if he was changed.

When the coast was clear, I walked out and slipped on my neon pink Vans just as Jeremy walked back in with Alan and Austin behind him, all wearing swim trunks and tank tops.

"Ready boys?" I asked with a grin as I tossed some sunscreen and shit into a tote.

"Very," Alan said, grinning.

"Oh, car's out front," Jeremy told me.

"Awesome!" I exclaimed, grinning.

We spent most of the day at the hot springs. Where it was a clothing optional area. Either way, I was still awake and listening to Jeremy's snores.

At the hot spring, I was talking to Alan most of the time. He was sitting in the shade while I was laying in the sun, trying to get a tan. Like I would get that. No matter how long I lay in the sun, I never get a tan.

Sucks.

We had a great time. I was actually surprised that my cousin asked if I was okay with Alan and Austin joining us on our lazy day.
