"Finally, I am home." just as I thought

It has been 10 years since I was away from home. And today, it's nice to be back. It's just goosebumps as soon as I set foot at the airport.

Memories free flowing from my mind as if fresh from yesterday. I just shrug off the memories and keep walking at the arrival area.

There were lots of people around, noise is all over the place. Different faces, different emotions it was an atmosphere of deepest joy after a long years of longing and desperations.

I feel them. The excitement, joy and anricipation. I painted a smile on my lips as my eyes caught a familiar figure infront of me.

As soon as our eyes meet, she runs toward me as if seeing me for the first time. She open her arms wide and welcomes me with her warmth embrace.

"I miss you so much baby. Good thing that you already decided na to go home." (malambing niyang wika habang yakap ako ng mahigpit.

"Mom. OA ka. Stop being too dramatic." (natatawa kong wika sa kanya)

And the people behind her chuckled as I laugh at my mom's reaction.

"Masama bang mamiss ko ang baby princess ko?" nakasimangot na niyang wika.

"Come on mom. I am just kidding. You know that I love you." (pag-alo ko sa kanya kaysa naman mauwi kami sa pagtatalo sa walang kwentang bagay)

"Ang drama niyong dalawa. Isa pa mom, kagagaling lang natin ng states last month. At nagkasama rin kayo niyang anak mo na si Beatriz." (pang-asar ni kuya)

MOM: "Hoy Loel. Umayos ka. Baka nakakalimutan mong mom mo ako. Elmer, yang panganay mo ah."

aktol ng mom ko sa kapatid ko pero tinawanan lang siya ng kuya ko. Lumapit ako kay kuya and kay dad and gave them a kiss in the cheek. Si dad niyakap ako ng mahigpit.

"Here we go again. This family really rocks. Come on guys, pinagtitinginan na tayo." (maktol niya)

BEA: "Come on guys. Lets go eat na lang." (pag-aya ko na lang sa kanila

Kaya naglakad na kami kung saan nakaparada ang kotse. Pagpasok sa loob, may interview portion started.

DAD: "So what's your plan now? Staying here for good?"

Panimula ng dad ko sa usapan habang nagdadrive.

BEA: "Well, I came home because I am planning to get married."

And si mom bigla lumingon sa akin at tiningnan ako ng masama.

BEA: "Relax mom, I am just kidding. Hahahaha."

And we all laugh inside the car. Of course aside from my mom.

LOEL: "Wala ka bang kasamang mapapangasawa mo from the state?"

Dagdag biro ni kuya.

BEA: "Nah. All of them did not met my standard."

LOEL: "Standard? Correction, stanrdardssss. I guesss."

BEA: "Hahahaha. Kaya umuwi na lang ako here. Baka dito may pumasa."

DAD: "I can suggest one, if you want."

MOM: "Elmer." (sigaw ng mom ko)

DAD: "What?!"

MOM: "Subukan mo lang. Sa labas ka ng bahay titira."
